Well, Einoo told me (indirectly) to make this thread.

So I did.

Does anyone here besides Einoo and me think that this is the best show ever?

Now, I shall steal Einoo's format. Muahahahaa!

Favorite Gag?

The video in "I Dated A Robot". My parents and I quote that
one all the time. "Gee, Mavis, your house is across the street. That's an awfully long way to go for makin' out!" "The next day, Billy's planet was destroyed by aliens! Have you guessed the name of Billy's planet? IT WAS EARTH! DON'T! DATE! ROBOTS!!! Brought to you by THEEEE SPACE POPE!"

Uh, yeah.

Favorite Episode?

"The Sting", of course. I'm a die-hard Fry/Leela shipper, so I really like this one. The ending is really emotional.

Great show. Great. I don't really have a favourite, cuz they are all bloody awesome.

I love the episode with the Iron Chef parody..
Any TV show that makes reference to Soylent Green is alright in my book.

I liked the first episode of Futurama, especially the death booth scene.

Automated Voice: Please choose mode fo death: Quick and Easy or Slow and Painful.
Fry: I'd like to make a call.
Automated Voice: You have selected Slow and Painful.
Bender: Oooh, good choice.

I liked Futurama. It sucked that it was barely noticed be anyone until after it was taken off the air.

Futurama is postively awesome. I can't really pick a favorite episode, they're all so good...

I like any episode with healthy doses of Dr. Zoidberg in them, he's so pathetic he's funny. And I love any dialogue between Brannigan and Kif, genius.

Bender was my favorite character, nothing like a robot that runs on alcohol.

Bender is the ultimate witty/sarcastic character. What's not to love about that.

I had a friend that built a Bender kegerator for his refrigeration class final project. I sacrificed my dorm fridge for the cause..

The first episode cracked me up. I had just broken up with a girl named Leela when the show came on the air.. Funny stuff.

Was she a cyclops?

Fry's my favorite character. I think Bender's a bit overrated--yeah, he's funny, but he's not the best.

Zoidy's pretty funny too.

Zoidberg reminds me so much like the KOT, how everyone doesn't acknowledges him and how they are both really pathetically funny.

I loved this show for the first season, then started hating it, then loved it again when it was syndicated on Teletoon. This means that I still have not seen the majority of season 4.

Favourite character: You've all still got Zoidberg. Image

Favourite episode: Luck of the Fryrish

I don't watch it too much, but I love it.

I liked the episode where we found some mysteries of Fry's past...y'know, the one with Scooty Puff Junior! Or the one with the weird dog. Or the one with Leela's real parents.

Heh. Scooty Puff Senior. I want one.

I'd say that's true. Zoidy's more of a hybrid between :kot: and :coachz: I think--Zoidberg is ignored like the KOT but also has disturbing habits like the Coach (ie, eating food dropped on the floor).

That must be why you like Coach Z so much. :p

And yeah, Brannigan and Kif are awesome. Kif is probably my favorite secondary character. (Favorite regular character? Bender, of course, although Zoidberg is starting to sneak up on him, mainly due to the hilarious commentary for "The Bird-Bot of Ice-Catraz" on the Futurama Season 3 DVD, where Billy West spent an entire commentary pretending to be Dr. Zoidberg applauding his own genius.) Anyway, yeah, Kif rocks.

"Kif, shave my back hairs."
"*sigh*"

Favorite Episode?

Hell is Other Robots. Entire episode was pure genius.

Second favorite episode is Anthology of Interest I. I mean, Al Gore, Stephen Hawking, Nichelle Nichols, Gary Gygax, and Deep Blue? Pure genius! Only second because the other two weren't as good (although Fry putting a turkey over his head and then pouring gravy on top of it does have its merits).

Favorite Gag?

I really do not know. Actually, I know, I just have forgotten.

Heh, yeah, go figure.

Actually I like most of the characters on Futurama, they're all very fresh.

Leela is awesome, hands down, although I was kind of disappointed when her true identity was revealed. I love how Fry tries so hard to get her attention. Farnsworth is a scream--he's very underrated I think, and I never tire of "good news, everyone!"
I like Amy and Hermes for their one-liners.

Hermes: My manwich!!!!!

The only one I really don't like is Bender--he's funny but there's noting likable about him, he's just this enormous jerk. (Then again, that's sort of the point.)

My choice episodes? I like the Popplers ep and the one where Zoidberg goes to his home planet to find a mate. But I think my favorite episodes were the bittersweet ones, like the one about Fry's dog (never fails to bring a tear to my eye) and the series finale (with its Fry/Leela moment).

I never wanted Leela and Fry to get together. Maybe it's cuz...for a cartoon....Fry was kinda sexy, and I thought he could do better. One eye. Pffft.

I dunno. But it is nice how the eye didn't really bother him, he looked beyond that and found how special she was. Most guys are pretty shallow in comparison, the world needs more Frys.

AGREE'd! Yeah, she has one eye, but so what? In any case, I always thought that she was prettier than Amy. Mainly due to her hairstyle. I don't like Amy's hair--it's weird and too hard to draw. Also, I just find Leela to be prettier. *shrug*

Fry IS prooty hot, though.

I also really like Amazon Women In The Mood. And I Dated A Robot, if only for the propaganda film. DON'T! DATE! ROBOTS!

Making all these odd comics. Pretty good artists. Left Fanstuff too.

Mitchell is making me want to leave.....freaking...

Nevermind.

Anyways, I can't wait for the new episode tommorow.

Finally, someone made a topic about it! Yes, Futurama is thee most awesomest show out there! my favorite character is Bender, and my favorite episode would have to be the one where he goes to hell. (Hell Is Other Robots) I also like The Honking. My favorite gag would be The Professor flying the ship and leaving his turn signal on.

I used to love that episode a lot, but then I got it on DVD, and watched it so much that I got tired of it. Yes, it's my fault, I know. But at least there's a second What-If Machine episode which is just as good.

Ooh, I forgot to mention the one where they go back in time to Roswell. Just whole part where the government is trying to interrogate Zoidberg. "Are you coming onto me?" I need to ask for the DVDs for the D-ween.

And Mandy, stop mentioning that propaganda thing, it's making me crack up every time. XD

My favorite moment was from the Flowers For Algernon episode. ( I can't remember the name- it's the one where Fry becomes intelligent and Leela falls in love with him)

Best line ever:

Fry: "Did you see that lamp?! It was all "PKEEW!!"

That would be Parasites Lost. I love that episode, but it's pretty sad. Same with Time Keeps On Slippin' and Jurassic Bark.

I thought the holophonor sequence was really beautiful.

Yeah. Man. Who would've thought that Bender whistling the theme to the Harlem Globetrotters could be so touching?
