Two words:

Mario Cart!

Ok, I guess that's two words and an exclamation mark, but that's just how exciting it is!

Woah.

Anyway, my parents are tight on money, so I've decided to go with a this list:

  1. Animal Crossing: Wild World and/or Tony Hawk: American Sk8land.
  2. An extra battery for the DS.
  3. A pack of styli.
  4. Black and White for the PC.
  5. Clothes
  6. Moo-lah.
  7. Metroid Prime 1
  8. A new computer monitor.

That's about all I can think of right now, but it's actually not a lot after a few negotiations. :)

Items in bold are what I want for my big presents.
Underlined items are stocking stuffer-type things.
Items in regular-type type are just ideas for smaller presents.

-iPod (a real one, not a Nano or Shuffle)
-They Might Be Giants CDs I don't have yet (I don't have No!, Factory Showroom, John Henry, Here Come The ABCs, or They Got Lost)
-The Invader Zim box set (without the regular DVDs, just the extras disc, the box, and the GIR figurine)
-Some cool clothes (preferably from Hot Topic)
-Funny T-shirts or shirts with my favorite characters on them
-The SBEmail DVDs
-The Homestar Runner DVD
-Video games (especially Super Smash Bros. Melee and Donkey Konga...yeah, I'm a Nintendo geek)
-The Nightmare Before Christmas DVD
-CDs by other bands I like

Uh, yeah.

(I got what I really wanted last year--PSP 9 and a tablet. I use them pretty much every day.)

  • theSTART's Death Via Satellite EP- featuring the songs Death Via Satellite, Big Shot, The 1234, Los Angelos, Hi Flyer, and Trinity! Their best work ever!

All I asked for was:

An iPod Nano...or Shuffle...depending on how generous my parents are feeling.
Perfume (something by Givenchy...I think its called Hot Couture).
Winter boots (I have a pair of Uggs, but they leak...so I want something more leakproof).
The new Madonna CD.
A cover for my futon.
Some sweaters, and jeans.

I don't ask for much, because my parents are currently loaning me the money to go to Uni, and I know its rough on the budget. Doesn't help that tuition is due right after Christmas, damn greedy University.....

I don't want much in the material way of things. A Kick the Cheat. A Triple-Inchophone, though the odds are that I'll get a unicorn before I get that. Anything that can be catagorized into "pirate", "disco", or "awesome". And a hula hoop.

Well, I'll probably go out and buy The new Star wars Battlefront game, wrap it up, then open it on Christmas. "I'm so alone!"

- the Nuggets box sets (since forgotten 60's garage rock is one of those glaring gaps in my collection)
- Homestar DVD's! (the 4th SBemail disc, and the toons one)
- a minidisc recorder
- Arrested Development Season One DVD
- cash and/or gift certificates

I can't really think of too much I feel like I need right now in the way of material crap.

Dont want much this Xmas; been saving up all year and have plenty of money. Plus I just got the new System of a Down CD and bought the first generation iPod for $30 off a friend; so I'm happy. :)
But on topic, basically a (nice) Electric Guitar, a nice new accurate 'lectric tuner, and a big gift certificate to the iTunes music store.

Relatively short list for me.

Homestar Runner Related: The 4th SBEmail DVD, the Shorts DVD and the first set of figurines

The kareoke disc for Wicked, because the songs utterly rock.

Um...that's about all, really. Maybe it's because what I really would like can't be bought...

I saw one of those played live, I think. Those guys have wicked talent.

As far as good ole' X-Mas, I'd like a PSP.

Onto more wishful thinking, I might ask Santa for a Les Paul Custom: the one with the flamed maple top and gold hardware. And if that don't happen, I'll just whip out the polish and shine up my SG. I guess

Here's a copy of the wish list I sent to my parents. The "What on Earth" catalog is a mail-order thing we get every month or so.

  • Money (several rather expensive things are being released in the spring, so I would like to have a nice little starting amount.)
  • Gift certificates (for Barnes & Noble or Wal-Mart, I guess. I would prefer gift cards from the same stores than gift cards from several different stores.)
  • Apple iPod mini, or iPod nano if necessary (White, black, gold, or silver, I don’t need a lot of song space)
  • SoulCalibur II for Nintendo GameCube
  • Mario Kart: Double Dash!! for Nintendo GameCube
  • “Next Time You Think You’re Perfect, Try Walking on Water” shirt from the What On Earth catalog.
  • Dragon rug from the What On Earth catalog, and/or the book Dragonology
  • Gift certificate for http://store.yahoo.com/homestarrunner/, the DVDs look best.
  • Carrying case for my laptop.
Badda-bing, badda-boom. Betcha can't guess what the "rather expensive thing being released in the spring is".

Mario Kart DS

Anything H*R (My parents refuse to get me anything because I can already see all of the episodes online.)

The new Smashmouth CD (I used to love this band, but their last CD was awful. Hoping new one is better.)

Heroscape (I saw a commercial, and it's either gonna be awesome or be as stupid as the bionicle board game that my aunt got me last year.)

Pack of styli for DS (I'm down to one, lost one on a plane ride.)

Actually much shorter than usual. I got the DS in the middle of the year, so that made the list a ton shorter.

  • WWE Day of Reckoning 2 (Yes, I'm a wrestling fan :P)
  • Mario Kart DS
  • Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time
  • Invader ZIM Volumes 1-3
  • Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey
  • MP3 Player of some sort
  • Money

And, of course, a fairly expensive thing in the Spring. The Revolution, baby.
