Eh, everybody knows platformers like that can't go on forever.

Psychonauts is a little short, tho I haven't beaten it...on like, 2cd to last level.

Ugh, I've been playing Warioware: Touched! a lot, lately, and I still can't get all the minigames beaten. I don't have all the toys yet. Oh, and Final Fantasy VII. *sniff* I cried when I beat it... It took me 7 years, but I beat it. I got it when i was seven years old, and I couldn't play it, or understand it, but I bought it and loved it anyway. Such a great game, I never wanted to beat it, but I did, and it was one of the greatest days of my life.

I guess I'm going on a rant here(One that doesn't make much sense, no less.), so to sum up, Warioware is good and I think it's long enough, and Final Fantasy VII, while long, was not long enough for me.

 How do you find games to play? FFVII is just about the LONGEST GAME ON EARTH.

I wish Kingdom Hearts was longer, I crave more!

It's just a simple quality to length ratio. Like how E.T. for the Atari should have been about 3 seconds long, where when Final Fantasy is about the longest game on Earth, it's the greatest game on Earth. In equaiton form, think of it as y=2x, where y equals length in hours and x equals quality on a scale of one to ten.

:p Let's put it this way, to make it that long, it would have taken so long to make that they would have to redo it 3 times to keep up with the system updates!

Gungrave and Gungrave: OD, both of these games are awesome but they are too short. If you beat the either one of them and you skip the cinematics, they take less than 1hr, with the cinematics, roughly 90mins.

Just go play Yoshi's Island if you're craving more of stuff like that. Almost every Yoshi game (except for one's like "Yoshi's Cookie") are pretty cool. Although you probably knew this...

Anyways I just remebered some that could've been lengthier; ALL THE TONY HAWK GAMES. When I first saw these I was all "Cool" but then I played them and I'm like "That was fun, now I'll wait a year for the next game to come out so I can have another hour of fun".

I'd say that the THPS series was long, but the THUG series, especially THUG 1 was short. Maunly because you only had to do a certain number out of a group of jobs to progress.

Ya, I was mostly reffering to THPS 1 and 3 and THUG 1. I guess THUG redeemed itself with the bonus level (If you dont know look it up! It may be only an X-Box thing but who cares?) but THPS 1 and 3 have nothing to drag themselves out from shamesville.

The first three might be good candidates (well, 3 at least - I've barely played the first two), but I thought TH4 was actually way too long. I don't even want to know how many months I wasted trying to complete all those challenges, and I never did get through them all.

Definitely Fable. It was too short, and waaay too easy.

Also, Legend of Dragoon should have been longer... and the ending a lot less wonky...

Hrmm... The first Prince of Persia game was too short.

And of course, there's Tomba and Tomba 2. Uber-short games there.

Are you talking about the actual first one? Or the first Prince of Persia for PS2 and X-Box? Because I'd agree the first one was a little shorter then I'd of liked. But the ones for todays consoles are good enough length for me.

And yes, Fable is very, very short.

Armored Core: 2, Even though I don't play these games for the missions, they could of put on a few more.

Ratchet and Clank 3: Beat it up into the hard mode in 12 hours. But still a fun game online

Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2, I know you can't expect much from a racing game but, come one.

Paper Mario: Duhr

Any Spyro game, no matter how fun.

and last and most least
Project Snowblind, uuugh beat it in a matter of 2 hours. I twas fun and all but hardly any replay value.

well i dont got that one, but i got the other 3.
they were pretty decent sized, but you could pass all the levels over and over, and still be upgrading the weaponds (at least in the 3rd)

Paper Mario (the original) always seemed long enough for me...

I second Wind Waker needing to have been longer. I have no idea how long Minish Cap is because I've been neglecting it and haven't beaten it yet, though I'm betting it's either five or six dungeons long, evaluating where I am, what's still open on my inventory screen, my maps status, and stuff. Either that or it is the usual eight dungeons and they're just short. I've noticed that about this game. But the new items and bosses are cool, though. I hearted the giant Octorok. <3

I'd also like to add that almost all Kirby games are much too short. The general exception that comes to mind is Kirby's Dreamland 3, which took me a decent amount of time to beat since some of the stage's tasks were rather difficult. (%^#@^! R.O.B. level...)

Just about every game that has Wario as the star is too short in my opinion.

Super Mario World. It has about 100 levels, but it still goes by too fast. That ending always makes me cry. :((

You can't be serious! I thought that was the prime example of a perfect video game! The levels were the right length, and if you did all the secret stuff it was really awesome (secret stuff being star world and stasr road or whatever it is).

Aww...

That happened to me at the end of Yoshi's Island. But I still stand firm in my opinion.

Well ,doesn't veryone think Wind Waker is too short?

Other examples of games I wish were longer (they were long enough, but I wanted them to last forver) are Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Paper Mario, Thousand-Year Door, DK64, Super Mario 64, and Super Mario Sunshine.

Yeah, I'm a Nintendo junky.

Well, yeah. Making the mansion bigger is definitely no option here, but a few mini-games couldn't have hurt. Or maybe making the hidden mansion more of a challenge... or just not exactly the same as the original.

- Super Mario Sunshine
Shoot, I beat this game in less than a week alltogether. It was so much fun... I was kind of upset about how easy Bowser was to beat.

Relax. Nintendo junkies are in good hands here. :P

I still haven't actually *beaten* Ocarina of Time. And it's my favorite game too... I'm working on MM as we speak, though.

I'm also feeling that Star Fox Adventures is going to end up being shorter than I'd like. Sigh...

Oh, and there's this other old N64 game called Rocket: Robot on Wheels that is ridiculously cool, but, unfortunately, also a little short. (It was made by the same people who made the Sly Cooper games, incidentally.) If it had had another world, that would be the bomb. It only had six, but they were terrifically creative. Punnily named, but wicked sweet. And I know them all by heart! For no reason other than I can, I'm going to talk about them now.

Clowny Island: Set in a weird theme park on an island in the middle of the ocean. Has a build-your-own-roller-coaster mini-game, and another, more surreal mini-game where you must feed the heads on Mount Rushmore. Contains one of the most amusing lines in all of video gaming: "Please do not harass the chicken." Also, you get to drive a hot dog.

Paint Misbehavin': A Rome-themed level, which isn't all that peculiar, except for the tiny little detail called the HoverSplat. Being? A paintball-firing chariot that lets you paint the landscape all sorts of crazy colors! You can even paint the sheep, and depending on what color you paint them, they do different things. Yellow ones break, break, breakdance!

Mine Blowing: Fairly nondescript, and set in--surprise--a mine. Has the obligatory mine cart ride, but with robotic clowns. Coulrophobes should not play this game. Also has a bit with exploding gemstones that is almost begging to be made into a puzzle mini-game.

Arabian Flights: Great level--think the Jetsons meets Aladdin. Big and colorful, with a magic carpet you can fly everywhere around the level. (Heck, it's the only way to get around!) The flying carpet is just fun to ride around... WOOSH! But a little hard to steer, as the fact that I have not yet gotten the "Ring Trial" ticket for this level yet.

Pyramid Scheme: An Incan/Mayan pyramid that can swap between sunny and lava-filled! The sunny side has great music, but the lava side has the GliderBike, which may be the most wicked cool side-vehicle ever. It's a motorcycle! With bat wings! That you can glide around in! I love swooping over the lava in this...

Food Fright: A horror level combined with a candy level? "Sure, why not!" said the game programmers. And it was. May be my favorite level! It has milkshake rivers, chocolate platforms, gooey marshmallow enemies, and plenty of toxic green slime, too. Also has an amusing glitch in it. In one part of the level, there are large round peppermint candies you can pick up in your tractor beam. If you take them outside their little area to one of the suspended chocolate platforms, and jump in the right way, you can get the chocolate platform between yourself and the pappermint--and roll around on top of the platform, controlling the candy! It's so cool.

So there's a little deviation on one of my favorite games. That is also tragically short. Ah, but, c'est la video games!

The game is great it is visually stunning and the gameplay is awesome, but it is too short. On Easy I beat the game in 8 hours.

Metroid Fusion (The last two bosses were way too easy for all the buildup and the many times the first one can kill you before you can even fight it)

and THe Ratchet ANd Clank Series.. I mean after about a week of solid gaming (playing the game thru repeatedly) i can beat that game in about a day. and After beating it you get to keep your weapons? i just don't understand this concept and the sories are usually just ended because the creators probably got bored with the storyline (note i have only played the first two games in this series so i refer to them)

Heck, even the EXTENDED version of Fable was too bleedin' short.

Oh well...
