Post subject:  Animated Gif Loading

Hey there everypeoples, I have a question, and I've looked around Google and couldn't find an answer, so i thought I'd ask you guys. I've been searching around google for a free or cheap flash maker, and as excpected, I had no luck. What I'm wodnering is, is it possible to incorporate a loading screen into an animated gif so that it will load completely before starting? I'd like to make a couple of animations, but they won't work if it has to load each image as it comes. If anyone knows anything about this, it'd be a great help. Thanks.

Hm... I don't think so. The only Flash maker, I think, is Flash. Like, the actual program by Macromedia. Gifs are just images that animate, and I don't think their supposed to have loading screens and stuff.

Here's the Wikipedia page on Gifs.

No, there are. I don't know any, but I've heard of them. They obviously aren't as good as Macromedia Flash, but maybe they'll get the job done. You can try searching sites like SourceForge and tucows.

I know theres this one thing called like "Toon Boom Studio", or something like that, but I don't know if it's Flash or not.

Bouncing Mac Kid is mostly right. There are a couple other ways to make Flash, notably Swish, but all of them cost money.

Well, that Swish thing has a free trial, so you could try that.

Well, almost all have a free trial, but then IO'm stuck after the trial runs out. I probably should just buy one, but I don't plan to do too many things, so i don't know if it'll be worth the money. Thanks for your help, guys.
