| Post subject: | Been to any Sports Games lately? |
The name is self explanatory, but have you been to any games in the past few weeks? I have been to a few AFL games (Yeah Yeah, Teff. The Brisbane Lions didn't do too well) and some soccer games. You see, a new National Soccer League was launched in about September and Queensland's soccer team was named the QLD Roar. So I've been going to a few of those games at Suncorp Stadium. Oh and by the way, Suncorp Stadium is one of the best stadiums in Australia, so if any of you are down in Australia sometime soon, go there. |

I've been to a few small, local Hockey games at the rink. But, nothing too major. |

The last Sports Game I went to was an AHL game. It was the Syracuse Crunch and Manitoba Moose. The Crunch won. |

As I've pointed out, the last game I went to was the infamous September 7th Phillies/Astros game. "Here you go, son, here's a jersey from the guy who just homered off your dad." Oy. 
I normally only go to baseball games (including minor league action), since tickets for football and hockey games are too dang expensive, and I don't have enough interest in basketball to go attend more than one Sixers game every umm... 8 years or so.

I've been to 4 or 5 hockey games this semester (UAH and Huntsville Havoc), 2 college football games (WKU homecoming and Vanderbilt v Kentucky), and 1 UAH basketball game. The UAH games were all free (as I'm a student). The others, I had to pay for, although the Havoc games are very affordable. The only game I had to pay more than $20 for was the Kentucky/Vandy game. |

My soul was with my Kentucky Wildcats as they upsetted the overrated the Louisville Cardinals. Go WILDCATS!!! |

There has only been one basketball game EVER that I haven't cheered for the Wildcats. That night, Western Kentucky took it to them in Rupp Arena, and came out with the win. Then, when that win (and the season in general) got Dennis Felton the possibility of an SEC coaching job, he left, and so did Patrick Sparks. I don't blame either of them for moving up to the SEC from the Sun Belt, but I wish they would have stayed. I would love to see what Sparks and Anthony Winchester would do to some of the Sun Belt teams with their whole "shooting out the lights" style of play. |

I just went to a Football (USA) game with the Patriots playing the Bucaneers. That was fun.

I'm sure it was! Man, I wish I could have gone to that game. Hrmmm...the last sporting event I can remember going to was a Red Sox game early this year. It was pretty cool, but the two hour rain delay wasn't so fun.

I went to a college Basketball game a few weeks back. It was Syracuse University facing Texas Christian University. Needless to say, SU won. |

No love for the Horned Frogs? What gives, Dormar? haha I just found out I'm going to the Kentucky v. Iona game Friday night. Major wootage.. I know, I know, it's Iona... Still, it's Wildcat Basketball. Good seats, too. |

The only professional sports game I've been to was last year, as my beloved Pittsburgh Steelers beat my least favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys 24-20 at Texas Stadium! Besides that, I've just been to college football games in my city (New Mexico Lobos) and Minor league baseball games (Albuquerque Isotopes, named from the Simpsons episode.  )

I went to the Septwmber Eleventh Buffalo Bills Game... I also went to Ralph Wilson Stadium to see or school's Football Championships(The Cougars Versus The Knights, ring a bell?) We lost, but it was good. |

The last sports event I went to a firework landed in the stange and blew up. It was actually pretty awesome, but it was also pretty scary. |
