For some reason, tonight Safari won't load any images. I'm using the slow and crappy IE that my Mac has because it still loads them. I talked to a friend about this, and he said it has something to do with my dial up Internet connection being bad. He said he doesn't know how to fix the problem on a Mac, and the guy I usually go to when I have computer problems is away for the holidays. Does anyone know what's wrong and what I can do to fix it? |

Have you tried re-installing Safari? That might help. If not, the only thing I can think of is to download Firefox. Sorry I'm not much help. |

What exactly is wrong? Does it load slowly? Or just not load at all? |

I have trojans installed in my computer that make it keep trying to open up Internet Explorer when I'm not online and makes my homepages one of those fake "search engines." I wish I knew how to get rid of 'em... |

I wish I knew how to get rid of 'em... I'd download HijackThis and post your problem somewhere like here. Those people always know what to do.

I need some help with my firewall. It's preventing my DS from playing online. I need to figure out how to allow my DS to get through my firewall without making my compter open to viruses and trojans. I use Norton Internet Security and really need some help. |

I use Norton Internet Security and really need some help. Just turn off your firewall so it can connect, then when you're done put it on again and do a virus scan. |

I'd rather not do that, partly because virus scans on thins computer take forever, and partly because I'm lazy
But If I have no other choice I may have to do that... |

I have a computer problem of my own. (if I can deviate from the duiscussion, slightly) Does anyone know how I can get my iPod fixed? I droped it and a wire got disconnected, and it just needs to be re-sodered. Apple won't fix it, and I have no idea where to go or what to do. Any suggestions? |

That's the easiest thing to do ever. Right-click on a YTMND page and click "View Source". Go way down until you see something like this (near the very bottom of the page): <EMBED SRC="http://content.ytmnd.com/content/e/f/ef8b77fe0f2e32579ea7e297cb66fefb.mp3" autostart="true" hidden="true" volume="100" loop="true" type="audio/mpeg"> See that thing with the .mp3 at the end? Highlight that and paste it into the browser. Done and done! |
