http://www.freewebs.com/thejadedjester/homestar1.swf

copy that and paste it in ur browser....the link doesnt work for some reason...if anybody can tell me how to make it work i'll change it...

See if you can make him do something he's never done on h*r.com before. Like, kick The Cheat (if you can make The Cheat in it too). That might be cool

It's cool, but his legs look crappy. I can see lines hanging off of them when he runs.

Pros:
The animation is good, and his movement looks right

Cons:
His whole body, and The Cheat's, are all jaggety.
The Cheat looked a little big next to Homestar.

the only thing I notice is that he's got a case of the "jaggies" around his "knees".. Dunno how to fix it, though.. It does look a lot better than anything I could do, though..

if you want your links to work, do this
Code:
[url]http://myaddress[/url] or [url= http://myaddress] title of the link [/url]

um...strong rad..that dont work.... i tried it...

and the things are jaggety because when i ripped them they were on backgrounds, and it starts to fade into them from the bg. so that leaves a few pixels where its kinda them and kinda bg.

Uhh... both of the links work fine for me...
And I think it would look better if you put it on a color'd background so the extra pixles don't show up as much. Or just remove them altogether.

Whatever's easist.

Concerning the "broken" links, this is what I told StrongRad when he PMed me about it:

InterruptorJones wrote:
The problem is on his end, not ours. The link is fine, but if you click on it the server redirects you back to the thread. I'm guessing there's some referrer-checking going on, intended to prevent people from hotlinking to files on that server. The only solution would be to host it somewhere else, or to instruct everybody to copy the link and paste it into the address bar rather than click on it.

In other words, TSL, the way you did your first post, listing the URL and telling us to copy and paste is the right thing..
I hate that, too, cus I thought I could be all helpful and stuff by showing you how to use tags.. Oops.

That part with the zoom and stuff was pretty cool...
If you want a spot to host flash, you can host them at http://imageshack.ws (as long as they're under 1 MB), then you can link to them from your freewebs site. That way you won't have that copy-and-pase-it-into-the-address-bar problem.

It's nothing to really get excited about. It's good and all, but it's not that good.

that was odd

is it just me or does homestar look squished

and have an aura of GREEN surrounding him. You need to get better quality images of those TroggyTSLy

Wierd nicknames rule.

EDIT:

You get my 50th post. Yay!
Now I can relax until 100.
