yes.. it has been confirmed that the Nintendo Revolution Will use the Designed Controler. Also, it has been stated by nintendo president Satoru Iwata will have a big announcement in Los Angeles on May 9, One day before E3. also, the Revolution will be able to play all of your gamecube games without emulation, such as with the 360.
Right now, i am looking at a picture of the top of the revolution on this months GamePro Magazine, and it looks like it has Controler ports that the Gamecube Controllers would fit in. Also, the revolution will have built in Wi-Fi Compatability for wierless internet access. on a final note, the Revolution will be in four(4) Colors, Standard Black, Red, iPod Like White, and Chrome.

NEWS!

Even if it was new, it definitely wasn't of any significance because Joystiq didn't say anything.

actually, its not really old news, because people were still wondering if they were gonna go with the Crappy Remote Control or do something different. also, Joystig doesnt know good videogame news.

Yeah, uhh...Cola, I'm pretty sure that everyone on here already knew this.

But here's a question: Is the PS3 really having batarang controllers? I don't care!

1. It's a separately sold accessory. You can stick the remote thing inside the controller shell.

2. It's not called the nunchuck. It's been nicknamed the nunchuck.

Oh, and on a note, the 360 does not have complete backwards compatability. There are only certain XBox games it is capable of playing. I found a full list somewhere online, but I don't remember it.

Personally, I ain't judgin' till I'm a-playin'. Remember the whole "Celda" uproar? The griping and moaning about the visual style? And then Wind Waker rocked, just like we always knew it would, because Zelda pretty much always rocks. (CD-i abominations notwithstanding.) I've actually heard some good stuff about the nunchuck, saying it's not as bad as it looks. *shrug*

weve allready posted the list somewhere on the forum, but microsoft is working on trying to get the most popular games on there, and you have to use an emulator for them.

as for the nunchuck, the Telivision Remote controller, and bassicly the whole system its self, i think im gonna sit this one out...... unless its under the 249 price range, then imma get it for christmas

The only reason I'd buy a 360 is to play Barbie Horse Adventures.

:p

As was the case with the Xbox 360, no one is going to know what you're talking about if you constantly refer to it as the Nunchuck.

You know, people, you might gripe and moan about the controller now, but it could actually turn into the most comforable, most revolutionary, most awesome thing to ever happen to gaming.

They are using them, but luckily you can use your PS2 controllers as well.

In other news, the iPod with video has been announced!

Seriously, this stuff is pretty old. And pretty awesome. I can't wait for the Revolution. My friend and I are going to get it on launch day!

CONFORTABLE??????? That thing looks like an Atari 7800 Controller, and belive me, those things werent comfortable at all. since it is just a TV remote, and it has its B button under it,(as like the place of the Z button on the N64 Controllers), it seems like it could be verry uncomfortable.
Also, im not sure if there is a set name for that Controller add on thing, so i just went with the nunchuck, its NickName

Yes they're using the ergonomically well designed "batarangs", and no you can't use the PS2 controllers, but there might be an adapter.

Man, I want one of these things soooo bad now.

Mostly because I went one nintendo.com and got some info on it, but this boosted it up too.

 No offense, but you don't really stay in touch with gaming news, do you?

Yes, SSBM Online will "come true". It's pretty much the only reason I'm getting the Revo too.

Ace, prepare to be p4wned.

EDIT: Check this out:

Fake, I know, but I find it interesting that it has every character I've contemplated suggesting to Nintendo.

That would defeat the purpose of it being SSBM, though, because only classic Nintendo characters are allowed in. Sorry; exclusive club, we know. ;)

There are a couple I would've suggested that it's missing. Isaac, Ridley, Krystal (EDIT: Whoops, never mind, there she is), Princess Erika, and a few more... though since they're not direct first-party characters I wouldn't know what to say about them, except that they've never appeared on anything but a Nintendo system. Two of them is also really obscure, but hey, if the Ice Climbers made it in...

And I like the little Mr. Game & Watch in the logo. XD

Well, I think the PS3 controller will be the most uncomfortable thing ever invented, though I've never touched it in real life and I've only seen images of it.

You see what I just did there? ;)

That's actually not true, they were thinking of cameoing Sonic in Meleé and that's not a rumour.
