I have lots of RPGs, but not all of them I'd call addicting. I have one, though, called DemiKids, that I can hardly stop playing if I start. I'm not sure what it is about it, but it just sucks me in...

EDIT: TOTPD, like the rhythm's down your pants now...

Dude (or girl...), 3 hours is nothing! Lol. The most addicting game for me is w/o a doubt, you guessed it, Halo multiplayer (CE too!). It's all I ever think of in my free time! (Besides H*R)

Dude, dudette, I don't really care. "Dude" has phased into unisex for me, and I ought know, as in real life, I say it with alarming frequency.

As in, "Dude! What the heck are you doing?"

Does anyone still remember Samurai Pizza Cats for the NES? When I was a little kid, I could've played this for five hours without getting bored. But that was probably just me. Now that I'm older I don't like it as much as I used to.

Cool Spot, I believe, is what that game was titled..

Stu, you gotta be careful with the EQ... My fiance's roommate played so much that she would actually not leave her dorm room for days on end. It started harmlessly enough, with an hour here and an hour there, then, hours became entire afternoons. Then came entire days. Then weekends...

EQ is like digital crack, man..

Fire Emblem:Path of Radience is such an awesome game. I can't wait for more games. I liked the first game boy game, too, b ecause the characters talk to you.

Starcraft. My friends and I bought that game the day it came out, and I've been an addict ever since.

The game is what, 7 or 8 years old now? And it STILL kicks booty. Can't beat that kind of longevity.

Though I must admit Halo multiplayer is rather addicting. Unless you're just getting your head kicked in over and over.

I find the Tekken series quite addictive. Can't wait to play Tekken 5.

Y'all know, a thought just occured to me of one I remember... I downloaded this one game from the Internet once called Seiklus. It was an adventure/platformer that some guy with a game making program had made in his spare time. But goodness, it was clever! For about three or four days, I would sit at it, trying to figure out where all the whisps and treasures were hidden. The white whisps were the hardest, because they were all hidden, and finding all the little hidey-holes they were tucked into was a pain... and then, after that, there were the moon amulet pieces...

It was a good game, though, especially considering its one-man staff. If I had the link I'd post it.

Has anyone ever played Summoner, from THQ? I couldn't get away from that game. I played it like 2 or 3 times. I loved that game.

Ever Since I bought it 3 months ago, I haven't stopped playing. I need to collect all the crayon colors! I need to unlock the final eternal level!

I forgot who said it, but, yes CTR is extremely addictive, I still play it time to time. And no one, I mean no one!, can beat me in CTR.

Right now, my best friend and I have recently become re-addicted to Kingdom Hearts. I love that game, but I always become slightly embarassed playing the Pooh level, especially when my friend's siblings teenage male friends are over... Talk about being teased...

Ooh, I remember another one. River City Ransom, especially the GBA remake of it. I never liked beat-'em-ups, but that one is just incredible!

I just thought of another one I was totally addicted to a few years ago - Tony Hawk Pro Skater 4. The hours I've wasted on that were enormous, and I still haven't gotten through all the challenges yet. Apparently, though, it's long enough since I played that I didn't even realize one of my mom's current favorite bands (Flogging Molly) had a song featured in it!

I actually rediscovered an old, old game that we had on our old Windows 3.1 computer today.

It's basically a better version of that Parachute game on the iPod. It's called Night Raid, and I can't stop playing it. Everyone, try the game.

Meh, aaaand aother one I stupidly forgot. The Ninja Gaiden games on the NES. I pretty much spent the whole day playing those games today. They're quite impressive.

All you peole are dead wrong. The most addictive game I've ever played is Civilization III. Games can last at least 12 hours, and once you start, you can't stop playing. (I assume civ4 is the same way, but I don't have it.)

That game is friggin awesome. Well, I haven't played the whole thing actually, just a demo with the first four levels. But it was awesome.
