New Wiki Forum Fad???

Okay, I just noticed something.

A number of people have Baby Strong Bad (from highschool) as their avatars, but each person has a different variation on him.

I remember one where instead of his usual big green shiny eyes, he had weird black smaller eyes (or something like that), and there was another one where his picture had been split in two and the halves had been reversed (like an off-set TV).

Anyways, I just wanted to comment on that, as I thought it was interesting... and pretty amusing!

So where'd you guys come up with this one anyway?

Then, the debate began over who had one first. Jenny, to distinguish her avatar from Jones, flipped hers so that he was facing the other way. Soon others were doing variations on the theme.

The fun lasted for a couple of days, then things went back to normal.

Okay, I have a request.

Could people with Baby Strong Bad pics please post theirs? I am saving all the Baby Strong Bad pictures I can find to my computer. I want to have a big picture collection of different Baby Strong Bads... since I'm a HUGE fan of Strong Bad!

So any pics you have, could you please post them? I'd always make my own, but I really don't have that ability.

It would be much appreciated!

(I won't use these pictures for my own avatar of anything. You'll still have the rights to your own picture)

DETAIL: I didn't flip mine. It came that way. All I did was crop and resize. And the debate ended in Jones proving that his was first by a few minutes.

I have 22 of them on my compy (I think there's only two or three I didn't collect for my banner), but they're in Paint Shop Pro format. If you have PSP, though, let me know and I can zip 'em up for you.

Yeah, I was gonna say.... check out with IJ on getting various avatars collected, until he just posted. Personally, I thought it was a hilarious and creative fad when it first started out, but now I feel like it's getting a little old, much like the names around Christmas. But hey, if everyone wants to keep going with it, that's fine!

Yeah, I actually had mine flipped from the start.. I like to have my avatars facing to the right, for some reason.

Were there rules for this like every avatar had to be unique, you know there couldn't be any dupilicates.

There were no rules--it's not like it was a planned or coordinated thing--but it would be pretty lame to copy someone's avatar, no?

I remember TEF made rules for this, but then again TEF is a control freak that thinks everything needs rules and regulations. Yeah, it would be pretty lame if someone copied an avatar.

Yea, it was fast, as far as fads go.

Truth be known, that's why I made the Trogador avvy. I was hoping to start a Trogador avatar battle. Unfortunately, it didn't pan out. Guess Trogador doesn't have the cuteness of Baby Strong Bad.

There's just something about being the only one with such-and-such as an avatar that makes ya feel good. Instantly recognizable, even.

Yeah, really. It's kinda cool having my own really bad artwork as an avatar. I actually did a series of drawerings of my fake "backing band" in Physical Illusion... maybe I'll consider the rest of 'em for a rotating thing later.

I just haven't changed my avatar yet because I haven't found a new one I liked. Since I won't be back at my own compy until May...my Baby SB avatar is probably here to stay for several months!! Unless I find one before tomorrow!

yeah, i was just excited that a toon finally came out so i had to have an avatar, otherwise I generally make my own with photoshop or whatever... but i felt it was time to get a new avatar now... they didn't have a baby Homestar, so I had to make one

It was a pretty creative fad. I didn't like it because I don't know how to make avatars, and I couldn't find an image on google that was small enough to meet the requirements.

In a way, it's too bad it's over. I kinda wanted to make an avatar like my old "Bacon Man is the Cloaked Figure" avatar, only with Baby Strong Bad.

Of course, the whole fad probably made everyone yearn for the days when the only people with even remotely similar avatars were me and Myrrh. And ours weren't that similar.

You could have atleast put Canador up. Or Queenie's sketch. Or a picture of yourself as a pirate. Or....something lechable, please.
