bird dinos are fun to draw... feathers AND scales! all the tedious doodling of details you could ask for in one critter.

Don't forget that all bird have scales on their legs...

How about the diplodocus?

I should have made pics in the museum saturday. They had a very real-looking model of the Archaeopteryx.
Edit: There he is. So cute.

Actually... does somebody know the hoatzin? A still-alive prehistoric bird. The babies have claws like the Archaeopteryx. They eat leaves. They are cool.

I'd love to see them... gotta look up if they are kept in zoos... Image

... Nope. No hoatzins in zoos. Let's go to the wild!

Um, toastpaint... back to the T-rex and stuff.

It's funny because as soon as I got off this forum to watch tv a couple dinosaur specials came on. Heheheh.

Archaeopteryx was my favorite animal back in the day. In 4th grade our teachers had us put on a dinosaur play. When I saw they had pterasaur songs in there, I thought I'd do the first bird, since even then I knew pterasaurs weren't dinosaurs. =B

Mmyep. Moving on.

Diliphosaurus. (Please don't hit me if I spelled that wrong. I said I USED to be able to spell all the dinosaurs' names right. O_o;) One of my favorite dinosaurs, anyway. *spew!* I have a diliphosaurus figurine sitting next to me. It's awesome.

I was in a dinosaur play, and my mom made all the costumes. I wanted to be a dinosaur, but it was a musical and I stink at singing... so I ended up being a cycad (prehistoric plant, like a palm tree but stubby). I got to keep all the costumes though. I must admit, they are pretty sweet costumes.

I'm a horrible singer too, but that doesn't stop me. I sing all the time. ;D

Our costumes were made of paper for wings and foam cups for snouts. Ah, the taste of low-budget. My brother thought I was a pig. :F

our costumes were papier mache hats/masks, and they actually were displayed at the fair and won blue ribbons... they were pretty sweet. I got a couple dragon ones too.

and btw, i didn't mean that i don't sing... i just don't sing in front of crowds...
sorry i couldn't resist... that link is one of my older, really really strange animations... yeah, pretty much a great view up my nose. Really, I'm not that stupid looking in real life. Well, maybe.

I NEED TO STOP TOASTPAINTING MY OWN TOPIC!

Wish I could have got your costumes. =/

I've sung for plays lots of times, though with a group. Talking/doing whatever in front of crouds without a bit of nervousness is something I'm really good at. Now, talking to individual people... that can be hard sometimes. O_o

Strange animations are so much fun to make. I must have done tens of them. =B

Um, Dinosaurs. Dinosaurs.
I remember having this dinosaur hunting computer game a long time ago, where you, well, hunt dinosaurs. I can't remember what it's called and I really want to play it again. All I remember is there was a large trophy room you could walk around in, and when you hunt you walk around the wilds and just look for things to shoot. But I stopped one day because I got violently attacked from behind by some sort of carnivourus dinosaur I can't remember, and it creeped me out for the rest of the week. ._. Um. Anyone recognize it somehow from my vague description?

Oooh, dinos! I love dinosaurs! My favorites are probably the Stegosaurus and the Archyopteryx. I'm also quite fond of the non-dino plesiosaurs, and also the actual-dino Iguanodon. I once played an RPG that had dinosaurs in it. It was very simple, but sort of neat.

Anyone know if there was ever a dinosaur with "Amarga" or something like that in its name? It was one of the enemy dinosaurs in that game and it looked really cool.

Heh. Dinosaurs. When I was little I drew them all the time. They look cool, just like dragons do. Back then I liked Pachichepalosaurs (probably spelled incorrectly) best. But I do not know who's my current favorite.
