Acekirby: On Kirby's Dreamland 2: Good Prize for that one! Do you know, when I first got that game, I was actually afraid to take it out of my GameBoy for several months, I liked it so much. I guess I feared that Dark Matter would curse me or something if I did. The thing that finally pursueded me to change my course? A little game called Pokèmon Blue. Pepperochu: Cool list idea. Mind if I steal it? 10. Elphine - DemiKids He's a cute little house spirit who brings luck to people and wears overalls. Yup, he's awesome. 9.Suzurin - Monster Rancher To quote an article I read online: "You wouldn't think something this cute and bell-shaped could kick butt, but, there you go." Not only are they adorable, but they ain't half bad either. Wonrei - Zatch Bell! The pale, white-haired mamodo who fights alongside his human partner with both spells AND fists of fury... man, now that's just cool. Bonus points for his and Li-en's cute little relationship. ^_^ Palmon - Digimon My favorite Digimon ever. She's so cute! Her Champion stage is sort of awkward, but Lillymon is neat. 7. Blaziken - Pokèmon A gigantic anthropomorphic kung-fu fire hawk. Do I really need to explain why this gal (well, mine's female anyway) pwnz? 6. Octorok - Zelda The iconic Zelda enemy, these weird buggish mollusks crawl over the ground and--surprise surprise--spit rocks. Their simplicity is their charm. 5. Zoras - Zelda Not the ones that spit fireballs, the good ones. They just look so darn cool! The fact that you get to be one with a guitar[/b] in Majora's Mask just makes them that much cooler. 4. Meganium - Pokèmon My favorite Pokèmon ever. It's a dinosaur with a gigantic flower around its neck. I can't quite explain why I find it so dang awesome, but from the first moment I saw it on a Pokèmon fansite, direct from Gold & Silver, it instantly became my favorite. 3. Ridley - Metroid Dragons are always awesome, and [i]space dragons even more so. Plus, he breathes frickin' laser beams, people! Rawr! 2. Metroids - Metroid You can't go wrong with headsuckers. I blame these guys for starting the "every space opera must have floating jellyfish monsters" thing. And the greatest monster of whatever... ReDead - Zelda Few video game monsters have ever made me genuinely frightened the first time I met them, but these guys gave me the jumping jibblies up and down the alleyway! They're so terrible they're wonderful. Zombielike moaning... shambling gaits... paralyzing hunting screams... and the fact that they mug your life away just all adds up to make one flippin' scary monster. |
