Post subject:  Strange foods

Well i didnt find this posted before, so i guess ill make it now.

What are some strage food combonations that you like, but you dont think anyone here would ever think of, or had tried before?
like this:

Winterfresh gum and dentine fire. Wrap the Winterfresh around the dentine fire, then of course eat. Its a strange combonation.

so what are your food stuffs that you like, and want to share? Make sure its not like a whole recipie...maybe just like steak sauce on salad or whatever.

I dunno. But I once tried mustard ham and soy sauce.
It was a strange taste and spicy. but quite tasty.

I sometimes put Jam on my hotdog. It might sound gross, but it's like the lunch version of maple syrup on bacon.

Warm milk and saltine crackers (seasoned with just a little butter and pepper).

Fried cheese (just put some shredded cheese in a light layer on a hot cast iron or non-stick skillet, brown it until crunchy).

Mm, that sounds good. I often make open-faced toasted cheese sandwiches. Just a few slices of cheese on some bread or half a bagel in the toaster oven.

I heart my toaster oven.

They ARE good. Breakfast foods have so many awesome possibilities like that.

Yeah. Penaut butter pancakes are not so good, though. Odd tasting.

That's the first thing that popped into my head when I read this too. It's kinda cool that they actually make ketchup-flavored potato chips, though they're not quite as good as the real thing.

Believe it or not, I actually took a page out of Ed, Edd, and Eddy's book and had some buttered toast in gravy.

It was absolutely pwnsome.

A lot of people cringe when I say this, but I love mustard on pretzels. It's best when you have some of those thick sourdough pretzels.

Another snack I like that some find strange: Peanut butter and syrup, spread on crackers. Just mix some peanut butter with some maple syrup or corn syrup (like Kayro) in a cup or bowl and spread away. It's very good.

Ketchup flavoured chips are my favourite kind. So great.

I ate peanut butter and onion sandwiches when I was little. I almost threw up when my Mom told me that the other day. So gross, I would NOT do that now.

Bleh.

The oddest combined food ever I ate was a cheese hamburger in a chocolate milkshake, strangly enough it was very tasty.

Dude, back when my dad was in high school, that was the perfect date meal, a burger, fries, and a milkshake at the local drive-in.

Oh, and I like to mix strawberry juice, sugar, and syrup and put it on my pancakes. That's not really weird, but whatever.

I ate bread crumbs, water, and flour mixed together a few times. It was good. It tasted a lot like glue.

hmmm....

Some would say that's gross, but, if you think about it, it's not. Say you have some of the burger in your mouth and you take a drink of the milkshake. In effect you've done the same thing as dipping the burger into the shake.

Dipping it directly into the shake is strange, but not gross. At least I don't think it is.

Well it might be...if it makes the bun soggy.... like who here has had a fizzywinkle? a twinkie dipped in coke...its not the flavour that made me nearly vomit my guts out, it was the fact that it felt like i was chewing on a sponge dipped in coke.

Dipping a Cheeseburger into a chocolate milkshake isn't gross. More disgusting things have gone in my mouth then that.

 Forget I said that last part.

Peanut butter on toast prolly doesn't sound weird, but I've eaten it since I was in first grade.

I do like to eat Twinkies with a knife & fork. It's a Blue Man Group thing. :p
And sometimes I eat Cheerios right outta the box.
