You mean a flash maker? You're not going to be able to fidn a free one. I, and many other people, have tried, and they jsut don't exist anymore. All that's left are ones you ahev to pay for.

'Dosen't have to be flash maker. Any thing that can make a computer animation that's not gif. Dosen't have to makes sounds 'neather.

Use power point and change it into a flash file with one of those converters.

Why not trials? That's about all you can find for free for animation. Some of them don't even expire anyways (you are on day 841 of your 30-day trial...).

I don't think powerpoint can actually animate... it just does those effect things.

Finding something that can make cut scenes will be pretty hard to immposible. Why do you need it?

I'm surprised Game Maker can't do cutscenes already.

I don't think I have Movie Maker on this computer, but I do remember how I made cutscenes for a game I made a long time ago. Make all the individual frames of a movie with Paint or some other drawing program and save the images. In Movie Maker, you can insert your pictures, along with any sounds and effects you want.

Actually, you can make entire movies with Game Maker, if you're patient enough. =B

Have you tried looking around here?

I was able to figure it out without tutorials, but it was a long time ago. It involves instances, or something. But there are commands that say something along the lines of "The instance this object is created, have it do this action".

(Sorry, I haven't tinkered with game maker at all for... a long time.

Cut scenes in Game Maker...
Well, pretty much you make every sprite in the movie a different object.
Then you set up a time line and make each of the movie objects move, trigger sounds, etc, when the time line activates them.
It *does* take a lot of work though.

If that doesn't help you, a simple Google search might yield some results.

That's because you're not using great keywords. No one wnats to rank high in cut scene making programs

WHat you wnat to do is search for flash creator freeware, or free flash maker, or something like that.

However, I doubt you'll find anything, I've tried before, and so have soem other people I know. You'll have to sttle for a trial or the fee.
