yeah, I got an atari 2600 a while ago, and I was wondering what some good games to get would be. And yes, I already have Adventure :) I totally understand the whole "get this freaking duck away from me!!" thing. They are annoying... so yeah, I have....

Adventure
Frogger
Dokey Kong
Asteroids
Centipiede
Pac-man
Mrs. Pac-Man
Kaboom!
Space invaders

and im planning on getting pitfall sometime.

I'd check out AtariAge.com. They have links to reviews on other sites. They also have game manual scans for the few atari games that you can't figure out how to play in 30 seconds.

As for games, I like Dig-Dug, Pengo, and Bank Heist. And I read Yars' Revenge is pretty good.

You should also get a 2600 emulator so you can play games before you decide to buy them.

My dad used to have an Atari 2600, and I remember that when I was a little kid, I used to love playing Pole Position with him.

To the games you have, I suggest getting River Raid, Mario Brothers, Dig Dug, and Combat.

Of my favorite games, those are the only four I don't see on the list.

Donkey Kong, Asteroids, Centipede, and Space Invaders are all classics.

Asteroids and River Raid are good game to get. Any of those classic arcaade games are good ideas.

you know, why didnt i make this a few months ago when i was making my 2600 into a portable???

well i say there Cyco, old chap, Check out Ben Heck and his atari portables, he has it there to where you can make one yourself.

also, i love Pitfall and Galaxian.

River Raid was The Baaeeerrrrm!! And if you ever got bored just playing it straight, there were lots of creative ways to play it. We used to try to see how far we could get without shooting at anything but bridges.

But seriosuly, I just have my finger on the fire button the whole time and try to avoid those helicopters.
