I loved it. The game itself was a little lackluster, but still a grood game. The commercials were great, especially the "Magic Fridge" and the Fabio Nationwide one. I wanted the Steelers to win, and I am happy that they did. I am also happy Ward won the MVP. |

Yeah, the Steelers won. Thats the coolest thing ever. There, I kept my cool. WARNING:Seahawks fans may find the following message shameful and insulting. WOOOOOOO!!!!!!! WE WON!!!!! IN YO FACE YA STUPIS BIRDS!!!! Man, talk about killing one bird with..., um, two steel fists, I guess. |

Go to ESPN.com's head story by Michael Smith to get a good opinion as to what happened during the game. Read John Clayton's story for the truth: A: Three key Seahawks defenders were injured in the first half B: Refs made three game-changing calls, and about 432890 non-calls C: Homecrowd for the Steelers D: The Seahawks outrushed, outpassed, and had less turnovers than the Steelers, but didn't have the "big play" like the Steelers E: They didn't have the big play because either Jerramy Stevens dropped the ball, or the refs made a bad call. F: Both teams were lucky to get there. REALLY lucky. If the Eagles and Patriots were healthy..phew, wouldn't be the same game at all. That's my two cents. Too bad the game was won not by the Steelers, or the Seahawks. Both teams played badly, but luck leads the winning team. Steelers just happened to have the luck! |

You know, I was going to come in here and glomp around, but you made all of my points for me! But in general, I have to say that was without a doubt the worst Super Bowl I have ever seen. I don't even care Pittsburgh (a team I hate with a passion) won. It was just all around a terrible game. See above for why. The commercials were lackluster, too! Man, what a terrible Bowl. |

I liked the game, I just with the players would have decided the outcome, instead of some crummy calls. Apparently, I'm the only person on the entire planet that liked the half time show. Unfortunately, that means that next year's is gonna be another one of those "10 pop stars I don't recognize singing horrible songs or slaughtering songs I do like" type shows.

No offense, but I mightily doubt that. Had the Patriots taken the place of the Steelers, and played the same way, would you be complaining? I think not. |

Anyone could have been in it, and it still would have been horrible game. Neither team played well at all. StrongRad wrote:

You know, if the refs hadn't actually made that "Big Call" that everyone is whining about, Pittsburgh still would have won... |

Possibly true. But at least then everyone could say that the players determined the outcome and not the refs. |

Well, at least we know that when the Eagles win Super Bowl XLI over the Bengals, the state of Pennsylvania will finally get its due. |

I'm not much of an NFL person (or a football person), but I wanted to see Jerome Bettis win for his last game of his career. Seattle did play a lot better, but in the end, it comes down to points. I have to admit though, that second "gadget" play that Pittsburgh pulled off was just wow. |

That's true. The Eagles are my favorite team, and I was sad that they didn't make the playoffs this year. The division is tougher than it was in the past. Usually the Eagles just walked over everybody. Now, the division is filled with GREAT coaching, spectacular players, and still intense rivalries. |

ramrod wrote: The Experimental Film wrote: Actually, in the touchdown one, I still can't see where the ball crossed the line. That's because it didn't. Had they ruled that "not a touchdown", the ruling would have stood, too. The ruling was inconclusive. I really think the ref that signaled it did so because he saw Ben stretch his arms out after he was down. |
