*Timmy, from Fairly OddParents, was originally going to wear blue instead of pink, but Butch Hartman's blue marker ran dry while he was coloring him. In addition, Timmy was originally a redhead, but since Vicky was also a redhead, Hartman reluctantly made his hair brown (even though he hates the color brown), because he didn't want Timmy to have the same hair color as his worst enemy.

*Wanda originally looked more like the stereotypical fairy godmother--she was frumpy, fat, and matronly. Also, she was originally called Venus.

*The song at the end of the Futurama episode "Leela's Homeworld" is "Baby Love Child" by Pizzicato Five.

*Weird Al Yankovic is a vegetarian.

*The object in the briefcase from Pulp Fiction was originally going to be diamonds, but it was decided that that was too obvious. Someone decided to put an orange lightbulb in the briefcase, which the director regretted, because it limited the possibilities for what the item in the briefcase could be.

*Raven from Teen Titans and Bubbles from The Powerpuff Girls are both voiced by the same person, the talented Tara Strong.

*Shippinator Mandy actually watches very little Cartoon Network nowadays. However, she DOES watch too many cartoons.

*Contrary to popular belief, Shippinator Mandy is not a robot, nor is she dead.

I decided to bring this topic back up, 'cause I thought it was cool.

The diet of the king cobra consists almost entirely of other snakes.

Here a lot of weird and totally useless facts, from a webcomic I read:

There is enough energy in one bolt of lightning to power a home for two weeks.

Meerkats are immune to most venoms, including that of cobras.

The herb Fenugreek causes your urine to smell like maple syrup.

In 1386, a pig in France was executed by public hanging for the murder of a child.

More than 50 percent of the people in the world have never made or received a phone call.

A group of kangaroos is called a mob.

Pearls melt in vinegar.

MORE TO COME....

Um when you say meerkat, don't you mean mongoose? Cuz Mongooses are immune to most snake venom.

Hey, don't blame me, I stole it from a webcomic.

Woah, this thread is still alive? I must be magical or something. Anyways, here's another one for the few of you who still bother to post here:

A circus performer soaked his red stockings in a bucket of water. Another performer used the water to make lemonade. The resulting invention? Pink lemonade! So the next time you drink pink lemonade, just remember that it was probably made with some sweaty clown's underwear. ^^

I actually looked it up, and the meerkat is a type of mongoose.

Wikipedia wrote:
Like all mongoose species, the meerkat has developed an immunity to many venoms; this allows them to eat scorpions (including the sting) and some snakes without fear of illness, poison or death.

So there you go.

I seriously doubt that. Where'd you hear it?

I've heard it from a few sources. Two books, and an Internet site. One of the books was a Ripley's Believe it or Not! book and the other was... I dunno, some kind of almanac. The Internet site is self-explanatory. Why do you doubt this, anyway?

Random Fact: The current annual military budget of the United States is larger then the combined annual military budgets of the rest of the world.

COMMIE! COMMIE! HE HATES AMERICA! HE HATES AMERICA! BOOO HISSS!

Naw, I'm totally kidding.

Ethel and Julius Rosenberg really were Soviet spies.

When the Spanish-American war started, Theodore Roosevelt organized about a thousand volunteer cavalrymen and bribed his way onto one of the first troop transports bound for the warzone.

Ooh, ooh, I know a few good lemur ones!

- The Indri and the Aye-aye got their names in a weird way. The one who discovered them misunderstood the guide. 'Aye-Aye' means "Uh...whatisthat??" and 'Indri' means "There he is".

- The first white people who saw/heard lemurs (at night) thought that they were Roman ghosts, the Lemurs.

- Lemurs get stoned when they sunbath.
