Am I the only person who thinks this is gonna be awesome? Also, it turns out that they've filmed Dead Man's Chest and the third film simultaneously. I think it's gonna be freaking awesome.

I can't wait for it. I was dissapointed, though, when I heard Keith Richards (from The Rolling Stones) wasn't going to be in it. He was originally going to play Jack Sparrow's father.

Meh, the first one was OK but not really good enough for me to get worked up about a sequel.

Ya, I'm in the same boat as DG. The first one was cool and all, but I'm not bursting with anticipation for this film.

PotC IMDb Page

I thought it was really good, but apparently IMDb users thought enough of it to rank it #233 out of the top 250 films on the site.

And they're bringing Pintel and Ragetti back (the wooden-eyed pirate and his balding friend).

Yeah, that disappoints me too. If ever there was a rock star that was perfect for a role in a pirate movie, Keith Richards is it. That would have been fantastic. I'm still mildly interested in it anyway, I guess.

The trailor looks so amazing....I hope the movie is as good as I think it's going to be. The first one just...rocked my world. Johnny Depp is just smashing as Jack Sparrow. Not to mention that he looks outrageously hot with all that black eye makeup. I can dig it.

I am FOR SURE going to see this movie.

Eh....I think it gonna turn out like every other terrible Disney sequel. I wish that Disney hadn't/didn't produced this movie.

Did you steal my brain then post it on the internet? Because that is exactly what I think. Loved the first, can't wait for the next.

Entropy, I love your username.
I want to see this, but I'm not sure how excited I am for it.

I'm more excited for the Pirates of the Carribean world in KH2. :D

Wow, that sounds pretty awesome. Who knew that Disney characters plus SquareEnix would prove to be so popular?

I thought that was a rumor.

But anyway... I cannot wait for this movie! Johnny Depp!!! He made it good. Kiera Knightley and Orlando Bloom were stupid.

Midnight, July 6th, my sister, (one of) my best friend(s) and myself will be at IMAX standing in line for tickets.
And even if the critics hate it, we will ENJOY it!

I want to see this so bad! The first one was awesome!

But, meh. All hollywood does these days are crappy movies, sequels, remakes, and stuff based on books and true events and stuff. I don't think too many of those are good. I hope they don't ruin it, but the first one dosen't seem like it is a ruinable one.

PS, you're going to have to change that post.

I loved the ride, I loved the first movie, so I hope that I'll love this one too.

What I don't love is the fact that they're changing the ride to be like the movie. I personally think that the ride is perfect the way it is, and a movie tie-in is unnecessary. Kind of like what they were going to do with the Haunted Mansion.

Don't worry: the movie didn't do so well, so it stays the same.

I'm pretty exited for this. I really enjoyed the first one and I hope this one is going to be just as good.

I'm excited. But, I wonder, is that new A&W root beer bottle design for this movie?
