I've seen in peoples sigs "this egg will hatch onh March 1" and a picture of an egg. And 1 person said "ooo! I got an egg" in there sig. What is about and how the heck do you get 1? |

Clicking on the various eggs sends you to a site where you can download the egg. Then they hatch next month and...I guess that's it? It looks like they have something to do with neopets and neopets annoy me. Someone more versed in this might help you out. I really don't know or care too much. They seem to be from a Neopets fansite. One word of warning, though: I doubt your hatched egg will stay that small size. I have a feeling we'll have MANY signatures over 500 x 100 on March 1st. |

Wow, the eggs have even spread here. ^-^ I'm a close personal friend of Neekko, the girl who runs the EGraphics site, and am on the staff there. It's always neat to see where they pop up next. They don't get too much bigger, usually, and it doesn't happen very often. Hope it won't cause problems. |

in response to your sig. They hatch on the first day of every month. Then EG realeases 5 new eggs for use They grow as they age and they may look awesome,cute,funny, cool and maybe even ugly. They are quite good in live journals and forum sigs. There you have it,a full explanation. |

it's crazy how fast these things spread. 1 person puts an egg in their sig and soon half the forum has one! (okay, that's an overstatement but still) I'm not getting into the whole egg fad myself, I'll probably just put one of those sarcastic "this egg will never hatch" things in my sig. Yeah. |

Neekko says she's glad you enjoy the eggs. ^-^ And also that she doubts they'll be too big... The only way they could violate the 500 limit is if you put in a bunch, and you'll run out of character space before that. And they probably won't grow too big to violate the height limit. The evolved forms usually grow no bigger than 90 pixels. |

Nice! I like what happened with the pink flamingo from several months back. Heh, who knew those critters were actually baby griffins?
