Boredom is a common problem. A common antidote to boredom for many people is going on, which results in said person... being bored online. Which really isn't much better. So do your part to help cure online boredom! Post some links to your favorite online games, Flash et al. But two small favors to ask: Don't post anything that would be against the rules anyway, and please don't post anything that you have to register to play. That's just annoying and takes a lot of time. Here's some of mine: Bauns It seems like a simple enough puzzle game: Throw your metal ball at the wall of colored blocks and make them break. You know it from a dozen other games. But then you realize that there's more precision involved in it than that, because finding out exactly where to draw the ball to make it go where you want isn't as easy as it looks. Grow An online classic. Well, as classic as Flash games go, anyway. Drag the items to the red ball and watch it grow! The challenge lies in finding out how they all fit together to make the planet the best it can be. Also try the Grow games on the site: Grow RPG, Grow Cube, and Holiday Grow. Sveerz Is it a memory game or a puzzler? I really don't know, and I really don't care, because it's a lot of fun anyway. Turn the volume up, because you're going to need to hear what the Oversveerz are saying. Oh, and the voices/music are really adorable. Tork A game that's sort of a point-and-click adventure, and sort of not. In this game, you play as an elfy space traveler who's gone and got himself stranded on an alien planet like all good space travelers do, and now he has to figure out the alien's strange, symbol-based language to get out. Good thinking game. Samorost This game is more than just fun to play--it also has a gorgeous, intriguing visual style. Another game of the "crash landed" genre of space travel, investigate a lush asteroid and make your way back to your ship after an attack. Warning: Slightly questionable smoking references. If that bothers you, then stay away. |
