What are your top 3 video games? mine are as follows (by the way, they are on PS2, but yours don't have to be :) )
  1. Harry Potter and the Prizoner of Azkaban
  2. WWE Smackdown! vs. RAW 2006
  3. Star Wars Battlefront 2

I liked number 1 because you can be all three characters, you can go through all of hogwarts, not just some. And the castle is really accurate, as well as the grounds.

I would be very pleased if you could put why your #1 choice is your #1 choice, too. And please, only 3 choices.
:-D

So... why's your #1 choice your #1 choice?

Since I don't play a lot of video games these days, I'll give you my all-time list:
  1. Civilization
  2. Worms Armageddon
  3. Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory
Do I really need to explain why Civilization is my #1? It's consistently in the top 20 (and usually the top 5) of every Best Games of All Time list, and is the biggest time sink I've ever experienced.

  2. Tiger Woods PGA Tour - I like golf
  3. The Sims
  4. StepMania
I don't have time to think of every game I've played right now, but those would be highlights
Why #1? Most good games fall into two categories: those that are really addicting and those that are nice and have good graphics. This is one of the rare games that fits into both categories.

I can't decide on my top 3 games, so I'll go with top 3 for each current system:

PC:
Morrowind
Civ 3
Warcraft 3

PS2:
Katamari Damacy
Dark Cloud 2
We Love Katamari (I just got it today, so I haven't played it completely. It's still one of the best ever ps2 games)

GCN:
Windwaker (Anyone who doesn't like it, can get out of town)
SSBM
Animal Crossing

DS:
Animal Crossing: WW
Wario Ware Touched
Mario Kart DS

That's a lot of good games.

This list is constantly changing.

1.) Thief: The Dark Project
2.) Spyhunter (NES)
3.) Gunstar Heroes

As for the #1, most of the computer games I own are usually throw-aways. I play them, beat them and get what entertainment I can out of 'em. Thief is probably the only game that I have completely immersed myself in, as in turning off the lights, putting on a pair of earphones and losing myself in the game. Spyhunter and GSH are just great games to unwind to.

So many great games out there, but my top five are probably:
#1. Legend of Zelda, Ocarina of Time.
#2. Super Mario 64
#3. Super Smash Bros. Melee
#4. Star Wars: Rebel Strike
#5. Soul Calibur II, but Three is cool too.
Yep, I am a Nintendo fan-boy.

Calm down, you aren't in any trouble. These things happen to the best of us.

NEway, my favorite games (in no particular order):

1. Super Mario 64
2. Melee
3. Battlefield 2
4. Star Wars Battlefront 2

Good, I've already told 1 mod and 1 admin anyway, I get nervous about these things. Toastpaint: Battlefront 2 I've played over a friends house, whats all the fuss about? I liked Empire Strikes Back for N64 better... (Or maybe I just don't like Battlefront 2 because I got owned by my friend... three times)

4. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas

How you gonna call Dark Forces 2 Old School and not call WC3 old school?

1) Strike Commander
2) Sam and Max Hit the Road
3) David Ledbetter's Greens (the only golf game that I LOVED playing)
4) Contra (NES)
5) SimCity (SNES)
6) Command and Conquer: Red Alert 2
7) Wing Commander: Privateer

With the exception of Strike Commander (which is orders of magnitude better than ANY other game), these aren't in any particular order.

1.) Halo 2
I only chose this because the multiplayer has given me 100+ hours of added fun to an already great game.
2.) Call of Duty 2
Great story, amazing graphics, and amazing online game, when the lag isn't bad.
3.) Sam and Max Hit the Road
I find myself constantly replaying this game. I don't think I will ever be done playing.
4.) Sim City 2000
If only I could find this game again...I loved making cities in this game. I tried to in the newer versions, but it was just way too hard.
5.) The Sims 2
Such a great sequel...I am still playing this game as nonstop as I was when I first got it. Great graphics, and a wonderful experience.
6.) The Sims
I remember first playing this game...I played it, and I was like, "What's the point?" But then, I kept playing, and I started to love it. I was a lot of fun, raising a family, and then raising a rival family to go along with it. Then I got all three hundred expansion packs, and it was amazing.
7.) Halo
It couldn't be my list without both Halos included. But I definitely think that the single player story allows it to be in this list. It was a great story to play, and a fun one too.
8.) Animal Crossing
Even though I was a bit skeptic about the point of the game, and why Tom Nook kept making me expand the house...I was still attracted to it somehow...How else would I have been able to pay off that entire house? I loved this game.
9.) Star Wars KOTOR
Excellent gameplay + an excellent story make for an awesome game. Plus, its Star Wars, so it must be good, right?
10.) OutNumbered!
What? Educational game! What? Yeah. Educational game. I love this game. I don't know why. I play it all the time, still. I remember, it was in our fifth grade class, and we would play it all the time, and when the disk got lost, we all were sad. It was sad.

Sorry, I couldn't do only three.

I never said it wasn't. I guess I should include it in the old skool list, that and the previous two WC games.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention Oregon Trail, the first game ever where you could die from one of any number of gold-rush-era diseases!

"Little Billy, would you like to help Mommy take the trash out?"

"I've got dysentery!"

"Never mind. Your answers are gross, bro."

Space battles rock.

1. Super Mario World

BESTGAMEEVER.

1. Halo. Don't care what you say, I love playing this.
2. Crash Bandicoot
3. Ape Escape 1

I have not really played any other games that much. Ehe. I don't even own Halo. I'm such a loser.

1. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
This game looks beautiful. This game sounds beautiful. And my gosh, what more could you ask for in gameplay? If it weren't for this game, I would never have gotten into the majesty that is Zelda. It's also one of only three video games that holds the distinction of making me cry. Man, seeing Link and Saria part ways on the bridge... TELL me that didn't wrench your heart straight outta your chest!
2. Tetris Attack
This game, on the other hand, holds the distinction of being my first video game ever. This is the reason that I now have the most muscular thumbs of anyone I know. It is also the only video game you can pretty much every person in my family playing and know exactly what they're doing. Plus, being a puzzle game, it never really gets old, you know? And of course, it's got Yoshi. Yoshi just rules.
3. Banjo-Kazooie
Christmas, '98. I want either a PlayStation or a Nintendo 64 for Christmas. Which do I pick? I play Banjo-Kazooie in a department store. I run around for several minutes as a termite. I am inexplicably enthralled by the game's weird, colorful style, but no doubt I am in love. Sadly, I never did get to own the original Spyro the Dragon, which was also very fun... *sigh*

Top Ten Video Games!
1. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
2. Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars
3. Kirby's Super Star
4. The Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past
5. Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door
6. Kirby's Dream Land 2
7. Super Mario World
8. Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island
9. Advance Wars: Dual Strike
10. Super Smash Bros. Melee

Having OOT as my favorite game is almost obligatory. That game was so great that it deserves a number one spot.
