Here's a topic for all the walking accidents out there like myself. XD What's your latest bump, scrape, bruise, cut, et cetra that you've managed to accquire? They say misery loves company, so share your pain and will sympathize with you/laugh at the dumb way you managed to hurt yourself. XD And you'll laugh too, because we all have to laugh at ourselves, and isn't laughter the best medicine?

So, I have a lovely new burn on my arm. I was helping my sister get a tin of muffins out of the oven, and I didn't watch where I was moving. I seared my right tricep nicely. Now there's a red mark on it that sort of looks like a claw. Yes, my grace is astounding...

Well, I acquire new little scrapes and scratches on a daily basis. Last night I accidentally stabbed myself with the corner of a tube of toothpaste. Yes, it actually broke the skin. A couple days ago I cut my finger with a knife while washing dishes, though I suspect that's fairly common.

Latest injury? Haven't had many... I'd say latest injury is probably when I slammed my thumb in a car door, didn't know it, walked away, then I couldn't walk :p. The worse part is teh nail didn't come off for a while. It was infected xD, sooo I had to take crappy tasting medicine, and it still grows back. (SINCE SEPTEMBER!!! It's like fully grown though... almost :p)
Other then that cuts and scraps, and I pulled my muscle when I landed on my leg leaning back in a chair.

Every so often I'll bash a part of my body really good on something. Usually it's my head on a cabinet door or some other kitchen object.

Heh...

Moonwalking, wallplanting, stuff like that. At the time, I was balancing on a metal railing. I'm probably lucky I just fell onto the stairs, and wasn't more painfully injured...

Well, I have all these cuts on my fingertips because I think I have a habbit of stabbing them with my pen when I'm not writing during class. I use the pens where you push the thing on the bottom to make the pen come out, so i think I've been pushing that and pushing the pen into my fingers. All of them (Well, most of 'em)

Defenitely not as bad as some of the stuff you guys go through, though.

Yeah, Im talking to you, Claw Arm. :p

Lots of papercuts and random scratches. That's all I seem to get. Never broken a bone, tore my knee apart once, but that's it. I've got so many scars, they just seem to randomly appear sometimes. Like, I've got this mysterious boomerang scar. I woke up with my hand bleeding in the shape of a boomerang once, and I had no idea why. Still dont. O_o
But, um. I did cut my fingers a day or so ago. Still hurts. Argh.

Not much happens to me. I'm just too careful.
*shreds his toe with a grater*

However, I did stab my hand with a chisel a few days ago. Luckily it wasn't very deep. I have a hard time holding a pen though.

EDIT: Ooh, a simulpost.

A smallish cut on my finger. It looked and feeled like a papercut. So I guess it was a papercut. But I don't remember papercutting myself.

The muscle in my thigh or something seems to have seized up. So I cannot walk properly. And I just had an operation on my teeth, where they cut you gums to stop your teeth going crooked. And the arch muscle in my left foot has ripped ever-so-slightly, so I have to be careful when I walk. Not very fair, seeing as I already have a messed up leg.

Does a very sore neck count as an injury? I can't think of any in my recent past that were caused by me acting carelessly stupid.

Oh, I am always re-injuring my right shoulder. I am a pitcher, and have been since I was seven. When I was nine, I broke my growth plate, mid-pitch, and I have never been the same since. Even through about 6 months of Physical Therapy, I still have never felt as strong as I did before the injury.
Every year, I get a new baseball coach, and every year, the coach expects me to pitch a lot. And I want to, so I never say no. So, at about this time, EVERY SINGLE YEAR for the last five years, I have been injured. This year, I am pitching, but I will only be a closer.

I swear my left knee is like an injury museum.

It's always only that knee. I swear, it's a conspiracy.

But as far as recentness goes, I cut my finger on the back of one of the plastic chairs in english class. Ouches.

I burninated my thumb pretty bad making supper tonight.

My all time greatest klutz hit came last month when I lacerated my hand on a toilet. That's right, a toilet.

I think my latest injury was also my greatest. It was June 1st, 2003, a date that shall live in infamy. I broke my right arm for the second time, and this was a doozy. Unlike the first time, there was no mistaking that something was seriously F'ed up with my arm. Arms have one bend, not two, especially not one in the middle of the forearm. Anywho, an ambulance ride, four doses of morphine and six hours later, I finally got the bone set. However, on the day I was supposed to get my cast, it was discovered that the bone would not set properly because it was a transverse fracture.
So, a few days later, I went to the hospital where I was supposed to get surgery at 11 AM. Unfortunately for me, a young girl with heart problems required emergency surgery, and I had to wait an additional 5 hours before I finally went under the knife. An hour and a half later, I came out of anesthesia with a metal plate and 7 screws in my right radius.
The next day, Friday, was awful. They gave me incredibly powerful painkillers, the kind so strong that you can feel it take effect. It's the kind people get hooked on. Later in the day, the pain got worse, and I took two doses too close together. My skin went numb, and for about an hour I felt like I was gonna pass out on the floor. However, I made it through that day, and the next 6 weeks of recovery.

Besides the occasional cracking noise when I flex a joint a little too quickly, my latest injury was about...2 months ago, I guess?

I was about to start up my homework after eating a burrito, so I set my backpack next to my bed. My dogs began to bark in my back yard, so I got up on my bed to reach my window to yell at them. When I was going down from the bed, I jumped and tripped over top of my backpack, knocking nearly everything off my desk and hurting my knee badly.

In fact, I was holding onto my knee while on the ground for about 10 minutes before finally thinking to move. I swore I broke it, but I didn't.

What's sad is that I'll never know what that burrito tasted like. :(

Well, a few weeks ago, I burned my arm pretty badly at work. It wasn't the first time either, on that arm. I got one in near exact spot last March.

Well, I was swinging, and I jumped off.

Easy enough, right?

I was swinging really high, and I jumped off at the wrong time. I had my arm in front of my face, 'cause I knew I wasn't going to land on my feet. I had glasses on, and they smashed in my eyes. Ow. When I got up, I knew something was wrong. I had broken my arm, almost a compound fracture. I almost had to get the same surgery as sb_enail, but when they took x-rays, the bone snapped nack into place. I had a splint on for 3 months, they didn't give me a cast because of the fear that the bone would move out of alignment again.

That was a year ago, though. :P
