Has anyone ever wondered whether Metaknight is the same species as Kirby? Its kinda obvious. Same size feet and hands, and when you defeat him, he blinks and then hastily covers his face with his cape.

I rember the the booklet saying they were old friends.

In other news, Meta-Knight is really cool! He's got the whole cool masked swordman thing going and he has wings too!

Yes, they're very similar. In fact, according to the anime "Kirby - Right back at ya!" they're both the same species - the starwarriors. It may or may not be canon though.

However, they still could be the same species, just not the starwarriors. A rare enemy named Bataman (if I remember correctly) that looks identical to Kirby has showed up a few times in the games. Perhaps another one of the species?

I like [s]Meat-Knight[/s] Meta-Knight. He rocked in Kirby Super Star. I absolutely love Meta-Knight's Revenge in that game.
*starts humming the ending theme of Meta-Knight's Revenge*

I'm almost certain Meta Knight is the same species as Kirby. I'd be extremely surprised if he wasn't.

Me, I was a Great Cave Offensive gal. That game had the single GREATEST boss ever in the Kirby series. "Computer Virus." "You got 2 Happy Smile points!" Priceless.

I think that the statement in that book (if it was in there- I don't remember it) was most likely not canon. I haven't really seen Meta Knight be anything close to a "friend" of Kirby's. (Save for The Amazing Mirror)
