There was a short rant about insulting/aggressive/snarky/"ironic" shirts up here, but I deleted it 'cause I think I've been excessively negative lately.

So instead I will say the obvious: The best t-shirts (though I would hardly call them "novelties") come from Threadless.

LaForge out.

Let's see...

-One with a turtle that says, "I know how you feel, I just don't care."
-One saying "SARCASM: Just one more service I offer."
-A really old one saying "And your point is...?"
-And a Happy Bunny one saying "Crazy doesn't even begin to cover it."

I've also got a few shirts from Hot Topic, but they're nerdy Nintendo fangirl shirts, so that doesn't count. :D

While I was in Madagascar back in 2002, one of my friends and I found a drunk man wearing a 1982 Rolling Stones USA Tour shirt. My friend thought this was the coolest thing in the world, and managed to persuade the man to part with the shirt for only 3 dollars.

It was his pride a joy.

I HATE novelty shirts. Especially ones with "Princess" and "2 Cute" on them. I myself only own one. It says "Reality Check: BOUNCED".

I thought it was funny. :)

Do cartoon character shirts count? 'Cause I have, like, zillions of Invader Zim shirts. And the H*R shirts. (And maybe someday, some Bonus Stage shirts...-crosses fingers-)

If not...

-"I'm out of my mind, but feel free to leave a message"
-"ROCK IS DEAD--Long Live Paper And Scissors"
-"The floggings will continue until morale improves" (it's on the back--the Ren Faire logo's on the front)
-"Kiss a vegetarian, taste the difference" (Sadly, this has yet to get me any hot vegetarian dudes. :()
-A Happy Bunny shirt saying "It's cute how you think I'm listening" (it doesn't fit me anymore :()

As for the character shirts (the ones with text, anyway)...

-Zim, with the logo and "Do not invoke the wrath of the Irken elite!"
-GIR, with the text "I still got a hug in me"
-Zim and GIR, with the text "We're perfectly normal"
-Vector Strong Bad, with the text "YOUR HEAD A SPLODE"

And probably others.

  • Generic Humanoid Carbon Unit
  • Obey Gravity, It's The Law!
Columbia Sportswear (they make some funny stuff, surprisingly):
  • Open a box of Woop Bass! (drawing of bait box) Guaranteed strikes!
  • (drawing of giant rampaging cow) CUDZILLA: When this cow's mad...it's udder destruction!
  • There's a MOOSE on the LOOSE!
    Other:
  • Do you really think they're laughing with you?
  • Here's a little hint: I don't care
  • You didn't beat me - I let you win
  • It's not nice to stare
  • Keep talking - I like watching your lips move

I think that's my entire t-shirt collection

I have a "I voted for Pedro" shirt with George Bush on the front, and another one that says "your mom goes to college!"

Not much else, but I wish I did.

My favorites:

-Stop reading my shirt!
-God created crew to keep the truly gifted from taking over the world
-How not to get Caught: 1. Act Dumb. 2. Deny you did it. 3. Blame the flying monkeys.
-Satan is a nerd

I don't have many shirts with words on 'em. I think most of them are kinda stupid. >_> The ones that do are my Invader Zim shirts. :B

I would like to get the "10 things you learn from videogames" shirt sometime, though. You may not be able to read it from afar, but it's pretty amusing, anyway. Heehee.

I have a "Don't Be Jealous That I've Been Chatting Online With Babes All Day!" t-shirt, and another that says, "Blow Up Your Car, Ride A Bike!"

I was thinking earlier today, and I thought this would make a cool shirt.

No.

None.

WAH.

EDIT: Except for my Limozeen shirt, which I stopped wearing for two reasons:

A) Everyone thought it was a real band
and
B) They kept pronouncing it "Limo-een". Darn you, AC/DC!

Ooo, I have a shirt I got from the Punks and Nerds website that says "Didn't you hear? It's cool to be a nerd now."

And that Stinkoman shirt I made that says "If you are reading this shirt then you are probably asking for a CHALLEEEEEEEENGE!!!"

I'm currently making a shirt that says "I'm beautiful on Yugopatamia" in school. Nobody is gonna get that joke. The one person that does didn't think it was at all funny when I told him....u_u

I have one from Hot Topic that says "Behind every dark cloud is an even darker one."

And I probably have some other ones I've forgotten about. But I wish I had more.

If not for the fact that the moment has long (long!) since passed, this shirt would be at the top of my wishlist.

I have one that I should wear more often. It's a quote from Napolean Dynamite (Shocks, Pegs, Lucky!) I HAD to get it 'cause in my computer animation class my senior year, me and one of my friends, all we did was trade quotes the entire class period, and that one was my favorite. I really oughta wear it, and see how many people wanna run up to me and punch me in the face, and then I will roundhouse kick them, Chuck Norris style.

I used to have a lot of weird shirts from the local thrift stores here... but I gave most of them to my brother.

The only two that I have left is my bright red shirt that says "i eat glue", and my BSOD shirt that I have had forever.

The novelty T-Shirts I like are too racey and offensive to too many people to post here. Yeah...some of you know the kind I'm talking about.

Oh, but I DO have that awesome Homsar shirt, with the back that says "Raised by a cup of coffee!"

I have two really funny ones. The first is with dogs getting eaten by a snake and it says "Stay away from reptiles." The second is a dog whose head got driven into a stop sign and it says "Don't stick your head out of moving vehicles." They were on sale in some backwoods Pac Sun. I wouldn't have even known about it if the sale sign didn't say "2 shirts for 5 dollars."

I should show you this picture. If you have any knowledge about Mike Jones, you'd understand.

Image

My friend Luke made about ten shirts for a coupla gals, one of which is being worn by Jen here. His number is printed there but not for you people. Otherwise you'd talk to Luke Bean. Who? LUKE BEEEANN.
