A game maker made pokemon game!

You can connect to another person and chat with them! Even battle with them!

Just go to the pokemon center and go to the PC and enter the persons the user code! press F11 to see your user code. my user code is aUgyrtgyrtaUrti . To connect with me, got to #hrwiki and type "strongfan is cool is cool(<user code>)" That is, If I'm there.

To get past the enter your name screen, press D .

This thing is amazing. Great find. What I wish they'd make is a pokemon game where you can edit it, like in Zelda Classic.

Location: Watching the birth of the universe... backwards.
I played a bit, and didn't think it was all that interesting. =/ Doesn't have the same charm as the real games, I think.

Still... they did a pretty good job. I could never figure out how to make RPG-type systems in Gamemaker.

There are lots of fun gamemaker games.

still, I wish I could make something like that.

RPG type systems: you need to make 3D games. For kinda RPG.

I have finally played the game and here is what I say:
For gamemaker, this game is brilliant
there are some good thigns out there, like a spickle sounds good.
But.
The game feels nothing like the pokemon games, everything goes by too fast.
even if an attack is not very effective, it still takes of lots
Not much skill needed.
weird starter pokemon that I wouldn't want.
and finally.
copyright. No'one likes copyright infrigment.

I also noticed a bunch of glitches, like my level 12 starter pokemon turning into some level 5 pokemon.

yeah, and when I looked at a lileef in my PC, suddenly all my pokemon turned to lileefs.

I can tell you, it isn't easy. I'm in the middle of working on my own battle system for my game, and although all the damage calculations work out fine, getting the game to swap between turns is proving difficult. I'm still not sure what's wrong with it, exactly...

1: He made it out of faniurity(a fan game).
2: There are other versions.

Since it is difficult to do the RPG things with Gamemaker, I use RPG Maker. It's got all the basics done, and if you really know your way around it, you can customize it to do whatever you want. (Especially if you know Ruby and have RMXP.) I'm quite good with RPG Maker, it's not that hard a program to learn. So you could do that if you really need to make an RPG.

I know some Pokemon games have been made with it.
