Drop Dead Fred was and still is one of my favorite movies of all time. I still quote it today (That's not how the pidgeons do it! You're meant to stamp on her head and peck her!) I watched Maltida the other day and remembered it's awesomeness. And: - Nightmare Before Christmas (My mum made me watch this every time it came on and I thank her for this.) - Robin Hood: Men in Tights - Land Before Time (DEFINITELY.) - Mulan - MST3K: The Movie (No really, I was like.. 5 when I first discovered MST and I'm very fond of it to this day. Shame they cancelled) Not to mention I'm a sucker for anything Disney. |

Smurfs does something to your personality. There's a very cushy, laid back, SMURFY quality to my being that never seems to go away. I can't explain it. I know they're working on a CGI film of the smurfs that's due to come out in a few years. Part of me is tickled excited, but the other part of me realizes that they will find a way to ruin it. |

And sometimes I hum the theme song out of nowhere... and almost named my cat after Gargamel's cat. Yeah. Crazyness. Wow, I'm so gonna watch that movie, even if they do ruin it. I need a Smurf fix. :( ...I miss my gigantic Smurf plushie. |

Oh, and I used to watch the crap outta A Bug's Life as a kid. And why not? It's a good movie, and besides, it has Julia Louis-Dreyfus in it. Oh, and Toy Story. I recall liking Toy Story. Yay, Tom Hanks and Tim Allen! |

I have so many favorite movies from long ago that I can't remember most of 'em. I loved: -The Lion King (I still do. Ask Myrrh.) -Alice In Wonderland (I knew all the songs by heart. I was a sad kid.) -101 Dalmatians (The cartoon one, not the stupid live cast remake and its horrible sequel.) - Pocahontas (sp?), except I didn't like that one song "Just Around the River Bend" because it ended on an awkward note (I was such a picky child). -The Hunchback of Notre Dame (...Don't ask.) Basically, I loved anything Disney. I still do, but my interests have shifted to other Disney classics. |

When I was about six or so, the Star Wars trilogy came out on VHS. My dad bought it the first day, and from then until I was about nine, I watched it at least five times a week. I knew every line from those movies by heart. For actual kids' movies, I loved Milo and Otis. I even had a cat name Milo. I loved Homeward Bound, too. And Fantasia. And Toy Story, the Lion King, Aladdin, Fern Gully, and mostly everything youse guys have already posted. Is it weird, though, that I'm 17, and I like most of the '90s Disney movies more now than when I was a kid? As for unmentioned movies, I loved the Gumby movie. I thought it was amazing. And I would watch the original three Wallace and Gromits nonstop. Home Alone, too. I never liked The Rescuers, but I was in love with The Rescuers Down Under. I was so scared of that guy's lizard. That thing freaked me out. |

Obliviously you read my mind, or like went in a trans (sp?) All the movies I liked, I remember on sick days when I was young I used to watch Fantasia and Homeward bound all day... And Milo and Otis at night!

Ahhh yes, Home Alone. The timeless classic of an annoying little kid throwing things at criminals who should know better. I watched the crap outta Home Alone and Home Alone 3 as a kid. Just to give you an idea of how stupid I was as a kid, I also went through an obsessed-with-Rugrats phase and I liked the new, crappy Scooby-Doo movies. |

There were definitely a select amount of movies I would watch alllllllllll the time when I was a youngling.... -The Nightmare Before Christmas -The Brave Little Toaster (I think the comment about it being obscure should be taken back )
-The Land Before Time -Aladdin -Free To Be You and Me (My mom always got it out from the library. Kids movies from the 70's rocks) -The Rugrats Hanukkah and Passover specials, respectively -And if it counts, the Daria movies |

Hey! Someone made me remember The Rescuers Down Under! Man, that was a cool movie. I need to dig that up and watch it again. And Alice in Wonderland, too. The Rugrats were awesome when I was younger. In fact, I... I still have a few Rugrats video games... that I play occasionally. *pleasedon'thurtme!* But that's a cartoon, not a movie. |

If there was a coupla kids movies I grew up on they would be called Pinocchio (the Disney one), The Brave Little Toaster, some Jackie Chan movies (a few deemed bad for my tastes), and The Land Before Time II, the only sequel I've ever watched to the original Land Before Time. And then there's some underdog Disney movie about a goat or pig & soccer. I can't remember its title. I'll also admit that I watched the classic Disney Cinderella movie, mainly because of the mice Jack and Gus. |

Toy Story 1 and 2. Toy Story came out when I was five and I watched it at an outside cinema, with homemade popcorn. It is one of my cherished childhood memories. Also many more other Disney movies. The Neverending Story was definitely my runaway favorite growing up, and even when I see it now, I still enjoy it to pieces. Same goes with the Back To The Future trilogy, the first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie, Wayne's World, and several others I can't think of at the moment. |

Ghostbusters I saw it on TV when I was 5 or so and it scared the crap out of me, since then it's gone on to become one of my favorite movies of all time. I'm pleased to see it pop up on this thread so much. Flight of the Navigator This one is an an obscure Disney(?) film about a kid who gets abducted and wakes up 20 or so years in the future and then learns that the UFO is bieng held by the government. He steals it, takes it for a joyride and eventually returns to his own time. This is a movie that I haven't seen since my childhood so I'm really fuzzy on the details. Labyrinth Everything I said about Ghostbusters applies here too. (Special Mention) Brave Little Toaster This one came out a bit past my actual childhood but it stands as the only time I have ever enjoyed a song and dance number in a cartoon. The junkyard scene rocks plain and simple and the junkyard song stands as one of my favorite tunes. |

By "our age" I mean everyone from the Kidlet Forest to the retirement home. |
