I don't actually get a spring break, being a working stiff and all, but my girlfriend does so we're heading to Ohio to visit a friend of ours. I really can't afford it, but I really need to get the heck out of Dodge.

I get out on the 14th and get back on the 24th. The weekend after we get back is the spring break retreat to this camp for a weekend at the high school.

I'm sure the school has brought a new type of low in.

Anyway, I'm thinking I might do stuff during the real spring break. Usually, I'm doing nothing at home. What I do have, though, is the Easter party we have at my uncle's house. It's one of the few times each year where everyone gets together. Usually, there's food, but we also have a good time there.

I might go on a spending spree the week I'm out. I'm hoping I can. I have $97 dollars in gift cards I haven't spent yet! One from Christmas, the others from Graduation.

Well, crap. My spring break isn't until next month! But, I'm probably not doing anything for spring break. I never get to. :-(

Mine's just about over. I had this and last week off. I did get to go out to LA for the first part of vacation. And play Oblivion for the rest.

I went to Atlanta about a week ago. The closest I saw of TBC was the Earthlink building, the company Matt worked for (however, I am not sure if he worked in this building or not).

But I still had a good time. I went to the Georgia Aquarium (the largest aquarium in the world) and the World of Coca-Cola, which is a museum dedicated to Coca-Cola. I tried 40 different samples of Coca-Cola drinks from all around the world (including one awful, terrible, bitter drink called Beverly), which was fun.

Eh...I just consider April break our spring break.

Of course, it doesn't make it any easier that we have to wait a couple of more weeks.

My Spring Break was far too early...week of March 13th-17th. Before it was even technically Spring. What's with that? And I only went home to stay with family for the week...but it was good, as I really needed the break.

We have February and April breaks as well. The April schedule is shaping up to be very much pay off for me:

Apr 10 - 13: 4-day week, band concert on the 12th.
Apr 14-16: 3-day weekend due to Easter.
Apr 15-23: Vacation week.
Apr 28-30: Band/chorus adjudication trip (6 flags wootness )

All in all, many 4-day weeks, random days off, and general good-time-having.

I never go anywhere. The longest vacations I take are 3 days, and those are over the summer, and they only happen ONCE during the summer.

I WANT TO GO PLACES, DANGIT!

Gragh, mine doesn't start until next week. I'm getting cabin fever...

Anyways, I probably won't go anywhere, as all my teachers and my crew coach are already assigning work for me to do "because you're obviously not going to be doing anything!" Well, not anymore I'm not...

EDIT: hey look! 100x Pi number of posts!

Mine ended last Sunday. It was cool though. I got to see my brother again for the first time since Christmas break, and we re-mulched around our parents house. It's funny, that even manual labor like that becomes fun when my brother is around. We're pretty much best friends too, as we share the same interests. We're also grooming our 8 year-old sister to like the same stuff. She already loves the LotR trilogy, Star Wars, and MythBusters, so we've done pretty well.

My spring break was spent in Mobile, attending a government hurricane conference. You know what? With the exception of the "social scientists" on the last day, it wasn't too bad. I mean, it woulda been nice to drive over to Pensacola and hit the beach, but the weather sucked the entire week I was down there, so yeah, it's probably better that I didn't hit the beach.

On the bright side, I did get to meet the people I'm gonna be working with this summer. Also, I may have secured a ride on one of the NOAA recon flights. Woot.
