Any you schools been doing a concert lately?

my school did one, except im not in the band and im too lazy to go to it...so i guess it sucked :mrgreen:

EDIT: OOH, i was in a concert thing, i just remembered, i had to dance....infront of the whole 7th grade...*bleh*

Yep. AHS music department is going to hold a concert next month. Being in band can be fun.

The middle school's band program (all 10 people) ends right around then, so their concert will actually be just their performing between our band and chorus (or something like that). And uh...it will be...fun...for reasons I shall explain later. :D

i miss middle schol concerts. im in college now and i was in band before, and i played timpani on some really hilarious songs. we did this lame compliation of movie soundtracks and i spent most of the time looking at the floor and counting rests.

when i was in sixth grade the chorus sang "don't go chasin' waterfalls" ha! good thing i wasn't in it.

I didn't enter band because it was expensive and because it would cause me troubles in later years. But I was in chorus in 5th grade (not my choice, my mom put me in there) and I didn't want to waste the money. At the end of the year we did a concert for the parents. Oh, and at the middle of the year. Too bad my parents missed the last one, though. We did pretty good.

You must like me Jonn-E. We just had one, although a rival band pulled our plug when we were going to do an encore. It was us and them in one concert for this one girl who was going away. I am so mad at that other band, we are going to smoke them at the school talent show at the end of school around the end of May.

We are also thinking of having a concert sometime in April. Our playlist will be American Idiot, Smells like Teen Spirit, Longview, and Basket Case hopefully. Wish us luck.

Your lucky Westfield was so poor. Briar Glen had 3 chorus concerts. *shivers* And not only for the famlies. For the school, too.
