Well, for some reason my dad is like, a cereal collecter. At any given time we have at least 20 boxes of cereal. But he also refuses to buy chocolaty/real sugary cereal. But anyways, my favorites are
Honey Bunches of Oats Corn Flakes Rice Crispies Rasin Bran Crunch And all that good stuff. |

Two cereals I need to get back to: PPG cereal: HECK YEAH! XD I totally bought a box of that in second grade, and saved the box for the next 3 years. Neopets cereal: Eh, I didn't find it that good. It wasn't sweet enough. Like really small, bland Berry Kix. |

Right on! I eat cereal when I wake up, cereal before dinner, cereal after dinner, and cereal when I'm serial killing. And cereal killing. |

Okay, if we're gonna start reminiscing about cereals... Anyone remember the old Nintendo cereal from the 80's. It was, like, two boxes of cereal in one based on Zelda and Super Mario Brothers and they both tasted pretty much the same (like Trix). This was pretty much the only sugary cereal I was allowd to have when I was a kid. |

Trix, Cocoa Puffs, Waffle Crisp, and that Scooby Doo Cereal. The stuff with the cinnamon things and marshmallows. That stuff rocks. |

Oh gosh...cereal...once in a while I'll eat it but I'm very picky about my cereal. So I present to you: The Rules of Cereal According to Windee The yum-factor of cereal is exponentially depleated the longer it rests in milk. In other words, with very few exceptions, I prefer dry cereal of most kinds--there really isn't any that I don't dislike. Of course I like sugary, kiddie cereals like Lucky Charms and Trix. (I actually remember the days when there were only four marshmallow shapes in lucky charms--hearts, diamonds, clovers, and moons, and Trix weren't shaped like fruit. I feel so old!) There was also a Rice Krispies Treats cereal that was popular when I was little that was pretty good too, but I haven't seen it in years. And Reese's Puffs! Do they still make that? In terms of adding milk, kiddie cereals suffer more than "regular" cereal. They just get all gooey and gross. The one that I remember suffering the worst was Count Chocoula. I still get the jibblies thinking about it. Stuff like cheerios and frosted flakes fare a bit better. I think it's due to a lack of marshmallows. There are, however, two or three cereals that CAN be good with milk. Fruity Pebbles and Apple Cinnamon Cheerios. Frosted Flakes come in a close third but consumption has to be relatively fast. But I'll heartily take waffles over any of the above. Waffo! |

My favourite cereals when I was growing up were Strawberry Shortcake (YUM!), the Star Wars cereal, which was shaped like Tie Fighters or something, and Pro Stars. Sponsored by Wayne Gretzky and some other sports guys. Right now, probably Honey Nut Cheerios, Apple Cinnamon Cheerios or Multi-Grain Cheerios. I like Cheerios! |
