...I don't think I've ever taken the SATs. But I have taken those easy standardized tests. Math, Science, English, and Social Studies. Easy. |

Though some states have comparable tests. Wow, there ARE Arizonans on the Internet? Sweet! One of the coolest new people on this forum lives in the same state as me! Oh yeah, and, um, you too, topofsm. The AIMS test isn't so bad, the 7th grade one I just took was really easy. |

It's not so much the test, it's the homework before it. |

I had 8 years of CSAP, the Colorado State Assessment Program. It's just a way to allocate money to schools based on "performance". And I had Levels, Iowas, Nelson-Denny...oh, and I have both the SAT (teh first) & the ACT (teh 26th) this month. Just wait'll all you kids are in high school... |

We have AIMS tests down here in ol' Australand. But only in grades 3, 5 and 7. Just this year, we started having 'em in year 9. I just missed out. |

Bah. We have so many here. ELAs, Terra-Novas, the State Social Studies test, the State Science Test, the State Math Test... and we have at least two every year. So annoying. But it doesn't really bother me that much, the tests are really easy. |

Only one person is pwningly awesome, and he is also at least half insane. So don't worry. That and some of the questions are just really poorly thought out. Yes, we do exist, Einoo. If we can drive the javelinas away from the Internet line at any rate.

Wow, 3 days gone for me. I am a bit nervous today because there were a ton of B's, C's, and D's today and only about 2 A's in the grammar section. And in the math section, there were a ton in a row. It started out with about four D's, then went on to a few B's. But I feel better because my friends all agree. |

We had HCPS (Hawaii something something something), which we called 'hiccups.' They were awesome fun. I loosely based the writing part of it on the sb_email "English Paper," and got the highest score in the county. No foolin'. |

I've got some kinda state test coming up next week... ugh. Why do they have to take time away from me actually doing stuff to test me over stupid crap that I learned freshman year? I've half a mind to just randomly scribble, since it isn't worth any kind of grade for me... grumble grumble... |

We had to write it on boring old school dances, as if the school was going to take them away. Lunar Jesty wrote: I got my NECAP test reults back. Does anyone know why they tell you stuff all year like the formula to calculate the volume of a sphere, and they expect you to forget how to fill in those little bubbles?[/quote] |

The problem is, you can't just mess around on our state tests, because you have to pass them to graduate high school. Sucks majorly. You wanna know how I past my writing portion? Ignoring the prompt (mostly) and ranting about how stupid the test was.
My school district gives dumb writing prompts every quarter, which I always rebel against. In the past, I've written my essay in verse, and in mirror-writing. What act of mayhem shall I unleash next...?

Moof. 2) I'm in seventh grade and also already taking algebra! HAW HAW! 3) I had my last of the AIMS test today. Still don't have the results. I'm hoping I didn't suck. 4) Don't you hate those long instructional things at a beginning of the test that think you're some sort of idiot? I'm sure we ALL have heard something like the following: "This is the FOURTH DAY of testing, in case you can't count. Make sure that all the answers are filled in, in case you thought this was an ice cream social instead of a test, and that all other bubbles are empty. No, two is NOT always better. Remember to make your mark HEAVY AND DARK! GOSH! FLIPPING IDIOTS! FORGETTING HOW TO FILL IN A LITTLE STUPID BUBBLE!" |

Einoo, where do you live? Phoenix or Tucson? I mean, not your address, cause that would make me look like an online stalker person. Since you take AIMS. |

They took two days out of classes to review us for our crappy state test. I felt like defenestrating myself during the Arts and Humanities review. Seriously, I got first in my district on an A&H test... I really don't think I need any review. And math? Please. I'm in Calc II. I honestly don't need to be lectured on solving two-variable systems of equations. I swear, if I get any kind of really stupid open-response question, I'm giving my answer in haiku form. Show them what-for. |
