I realize that post count doesn't matter anything, but I do like to keep posting a reasonoable amount from day to day. When I first joined, though, I remember only posting like four times the first day, and then like twenty times the next day, not counting forum games. I always try to keep up the quality before I crank out quantity.

Yeah, like Captain M'lady! She has only like 300 and everyone knows and adores her.

I nearly choked on a grape when I read that. Gosh, I feel like a newb again saying this, but I hope that's not me. Right? >.> int Ido equals not Girl

I think they are talking about Sexy_Sakura, although, it sounds a lot like you, not counting the lady part :p

(Fit it together, everyone lechs Sakura, she has under 500 posts...)

Yeah, you're probably right. It did catch me off guard, though, because of the closeness with name/post count, plus I didn't see a Capt. M'lady anywhere. Aight, all is right in the world.

No, no, no, no, no.

Captain M'lady is Queenie-C. It's an old joke from the IRC.

Eh, post count doesn't really matter. Sure I've been here for about ten months(or nine), and I'm in my thousands(still on one!), and nowhere near 2000.

...however, if I didn't go to the fanstuff and another forum, I'd probably be up there at 2000.

Post count can be a good way to see who is active and knows a lot about the forum, if you want to ask a question or something, but it doesn't really matter. But it's a cool achievement, like breaking 1000 or 2000 and stuff.

Obviously post count means less to me than it did before. I was trying to post to get to 1000 when I was at 987 or something, I didn't even notice that I hit 2000 until Teh Ch8t congragulatd me.

EDIT: There. Happy now?? :p

I usually don't post in many threads other than the ones in the Arts and Crafts forum. And since for some reason that doesn't increment post count, I'm stuck with 200 or so invisible posts. Usually I'll only post if I'm giving out information; I rarely comment on information given out. Hopefully that doesn't make me seem self-centered; I just don't want to risk spamming.

When I started, post count was a big deal. But when I broke 1000, I didn't even know about it until about a day or so after the fact.

My forumday's coming up real soon, too. I haven't even been here for a year yet! Awesome sauce.

Wasted? There's so many people you've meet that it's impossible to say that you wasted your time.

I sometimes look at my post count and I'm like, "It's already that high?" I still can't help but think that a high post count will define me very well among the forum.

And I'm going to repeat saying that I still feel like a noob.

I know for a fact that my grades would be higher if I didn't spend so much time on the internet. They're still high anyway, but I am wasting time that could be used for effort.

but the important question is "If you weren't spending that time here, would you be spending it on school, or somewhere else?" :-)

I already know my answer for that: Somewhere else. Either I'd be nose-deep in whatever book I'm reading, writing and generally being incorrigable, or playing some video game or another. I'm a lost cause for procrastinator's anonymous. :P

Acekirby has the highest posting rate of any one in this topic. I find that more meaningful than total posts, as a measure of spam volume...so that fellow has made an average of over 13 posts every single day since April 17, 2005.

That means he lives on the forum, and breathes its contents like one breathes oxygen.

What was this topic about again? Oh yes. Posts. Posts: They don't equal respect. They measure cumulative activity.

You know, it's not that hard to get post percentage up there. 13 posts a day is nothing anyway, if there are interesting topics abound. But days missed and days where you post a lot factor into it to. I don't live on the Forum as much as you think.

Now, apparently your post is stating that I'm the biggest spammer here. If that is true, I'd like someone to tell me.

He probaly is going by stats and not actually reading your posts. Anyone with over a 10 posts per day average, is in the same boat. It doesn't matter how many posts you make it's the quality that counts.
