You know, I'm not afraid to say that I DO care about my post count. Not so other people will look up to me and say "Woah, he's cool" but so I can look at it and be proud of how many worthwhile posts I've made. I mean, look at my join date. I've been here much longer than most people, and yet I have a relatively low post count. |

It goes to show that people on this forum appreciate joined date over post count. Because, knowing me, I will break the 1,000 mark in the next month, but, people will appreciate and now you more, because you are old here, and awesome. And for all you who dislike me because my incessant posting and high post count quickly, I'm not here to get a friggin million posts, I'm here to get to know people, talk about Homestar, and have fun, not get millions of posts then go up to people who have been here forever and say, "HAHA! u n00b!" Trust me, I'm not that kind of person, and I don't plan to ever do that to anyone, unless someone gets my password and goes on my screen name and ruins everything, which, I doubt will ever happen, I keep stuff like that very private. On the past few games I've played, I never had my password stolen, or had to change it for any reason due to someone knowing it. Although, sometimes, I may forget if I have not been on in heck knows when, but, judging by how much I'm on this forum, and I've memorized my password, and it is impossible to guess, I won't be getting my password stolen anytime soon or losing it. And to answer one of the main questions here, are you a "newb," No, and although I have said it already, post count does not matter, it's how old you are to the forum, how nice you are, how helpful you are, and how respectful you are, I learned that, a few days after I joined, and I have strived to help people since then. </long rambling post>

I will say that having, like 2 posts does affect your respect level, unless you play way too many games or are in the arts and crafts too much. I hated it when I only had about 20 posts. |

I think of myself as a "regular" poster, but that interpretation must be tragically skewed. I look at these folks with 4 times my posts and 1/8 of my time here, and I wonder how it was humanly possible to acquire that many posts. |

No, just that you post more often than any one in this topic. Plus, more posts = more spam, no matter how careful one is, I'm not singling you out.
This is based entirely on the profle. |

Acekirby wrote: You know, it's not that hard to get post percentage up there. 13 posts a day is nothing anyway, if there are interesting topics abound. But days missed and days where you post a lot factor into it to. I don't live on the Forum as much as you think.
Exactly. I was not here for about...forever. And I still have an average of 6 posts a day. [All because of the summer...] EDIT: Oh yeah. I gave up on the whole post count thing at like, 1800, probably. I still find it weird coming here now though. Because I hardly know anyone now. And like. EVERYONE has at least 500 posts. I remember when it was like, an elite crew. Now. It's everybody. |

I've been here a pretty long time, but I've had many long periods where I don't post at all. Also, I spend a lot of my time in Forum Games and A&C |

I didn't think that my post count was much higher than 150, until I just saw it. Somebody needs to remind me when I get to 1000. I also remember that when I was new, I made the 50,000th post or something. |

I've been around forever, but I've yet to concentrate on my post count... Forever being back when there were like, literally 3 topics in the whole forum. |

I can see myself having 150 posts...after two years. that's how much time i think I'll be spending in the forum games. |
