Anyone have a horrible sibling? I got my little brother. He's totally full of himself, and doesn't think of anyone else. He's driving my mum insane, but she never punishes him. She punishes me instead.

My little sister has the worst shriek...it's enough to mentally scar someone.

When I was younger, I used to hate my older sister...I hated how bossy she was (since she was the oldest of all four of us--me being the second oldest)...but now that we've grown up and matured, she and I are really close, and I've been able to tell her things that I would never be able to tell the other members of my family. (She was the first person in my family that I came out to.)

My younger brother and sister used to be annoying, too...but since they've grown up some, too, it's pretty much all good. My brother and I play video games all the time, and my younger sister...well, she's great bait for me and my brother to pick on.

Hah, it's times like this I'm glad I don't have any younger siblings... though it's really not much fun to BE a younger sibling, either. :/ I was the "baby" of the family growing up (I'm six years younger than my sister, and until I was ten or so I didn't even have any cousins or other relatives younger than me) so you can imagine I got picked on quite a lot. Mostly by my cousins, though (they lived right next door to us when I was little)

We're all grown up and cool now, of course. ;)

Here's some inside info that the youngest children may not know: We pick on our younger siblings for one (or both) of two reasons: 1) We had to change your smelly diapers, so this is your payment to us for those gross-out times and/or 2) As the "baby," you're always too "innocent" to ever be pinned with the blame for anything bad--even if it WAS your fault.

Welcome to my life!!!

Well, she has cut down on the punishing me part, now she just doesnt punish. He always gets his way, and if he doesnt, its like a time to be remembered for a long time.

I have two siblings.
But, they don't really bother me all that much, considering one is finishing up college at Rice, and then heading off to Yale for graduates.
And. My brother is done with college, and he has already moved out of the house, and has his own place.

But. I did go through a lot of torment, being the youngest by eight years. Even my freakin' dog is older than me.

I'm the youngest of three. I've got two older sisters, Jamie who's 4 years old and Corie who's six years oldr. Corie and I got along prety well most of the time, but Jamie was always immature and very annoying. She's a bit better now that we're older, she pretty much stays to herself, so it's not too bad nowadays.

Unlike most youngtes siblings, I didn't always get what I wanted, and I'm grateful for that, otherwise I would've been spoiled. Yes, I got to do things at a younger age, like being able to ride my bike to the end of our street, which took my sisters a few years longer than me, but other than being less over-protective, my parents usually treated me the same way as my sisters.

I've got a younger sister, 11 years younger in fact. We get along pretty well most of the time, but some times she really gets on my nerves, like when she talks just to hear the sound of her own voice.

Whoa. That's a lot younger.
Still, it's good that you guys get along, I guess.
But man, 11 years? That's like. A long time.

Heck yes! I have two younger brothers (12, the annoying one, and 8) and a younger sister. They are so annoying. They say the stupidest stuff, and they always talk with my friends, embarrasing me.

The funny thing is, in Career Explorations, we had to learn about this.

oh god. where to begin. my sister, she loves to see me in trouble. so she's sitting on the couch, reading a book. i'm on the bean bag, also reading a book. suddently, she yells "leave me alone!!!" dad comes racing out of the study, i get sent to my room(not the best punishment), but also takes away my computer privelages for the time i'm staying at his house. and when she's on the computer, smirking at me, i walk past and she yells "stop reading my e-mail!!". more trouble. of course, dad would never think it's her fault because i'm always bothering her, and she's just a defencless little girl. i hate her.

Like me. We were telling dirty jokes, and I was talking to some friends, including a religious one who didn't really care. He told my brother about us sort of. And my brother is all like when my mom comes up, "Mom! He was telling dirty jokes!" They deserve to die. And what else does he do? He's all talking about him getting a cellphone, he is definetely not getting one without me getting one. I deserve it more, I am older. He thinks he is so cool, but his jokes and snaps are stupid stuff you only see on stupid Disney sitcoms.

I tell my parents that he is annoying, and they're like, "What's annoying about them?" and I say, "He's talking and saying stupid stuff to my friends. It is embarrasing and it makes me look bad." And the best that they can come up with is, "He's just a friendly guy."

Maybe that's a joke, but don't ever say that again. Ever. You don't know how soon it will be too late.

And if it was a joke.... :P

i remember my sister's jealousy. i found an old mobile phone (that's what us australians call it) in the shed. it had no SIM card, but it has some sweet games on it. i went to mom and said, "can i have this?" and she says "sure". my sister found out and she's all like "he gets a phone? i'm the one who gets all the calls from my friends, and i'm always out, his friends don't even call him, and he doesn't go out as much as me, blah blah de blah" i just say, "shut UP! it has no sim card!" her: "oh. okay then. but it has games on it! you already have a sega, and you're always on the computer, so i don't get to play games, and most of the time you're just sitting on the computer chair not doing anything, drone, drone!" basically, if i have something, she will find a way to try and get it. she never does though.

My siblings scream.

For no apparent reason.

Both of them.

Whenever he wants to say something.

He says it at the top of his lungs.

It's annoying.

To say the least.

My older brother has Down syndrome, and when I was younger he annoyed the crap out of me... but over the last few years it's gotten easier for me to deal with it, and he's my best friend.

I do, however, extol the virtues of having a lock on my door. Alone time is awesome.

Finally? You mean you've never found someone who didn't dread their siblings? I didn't think that was possible

I have an older brother. I'm 11, he's 15. And that's it. He used to be a moron, but now he's okay, I guess. The only thing that really pisses me off about him and my family is that I'm a Christian and they're all Atheists, so I'm always getting bashed for being "stupid enough to believe in fairy tales," mostly by my Dad, but now he's stopped doing that now that I've argued my point well enough. It's just so freaking annoying that my 15 year old brother thinks he's superior to me and so much smarter. All he really knows is the location of countries in the Middle East and the kind of crap that they put on Jeopardy. He can't really see the distinction between knowledge and intelligence, particularly emotional intelligence, which is much more complicated than he thinks. He has no friends, and is always smirking at me and looking for things to criticize. Ex. Me:(discussing my point) Your comparison is irrelevant. Brother: YOU SAY THAT ALL COMPARISONS ARE IRRELEVANT, FOOL! I suppose this is the only thing that will keep him sane. He repeatedly bashes Democrats (I am a Democrat, he is a Republican) for being "too whiny," but once again, Republicans who criticize us for this simply know that they have been defeated in an argument, but they will, however, respond, once again, trying to find something to criticize. I will show you with another example: (I have been writing a story called Harp which has hidden morals about what we have done to our world and what we can do to save it before it is too late, and in it, the main character, James, makes a huge speech about the moral topic, and my brother calls it "Democratic Propaganda." He completely ignores the fact that everything I am saying is 100% true, and that Republicans criticizing Democrats based on irrelevant things, like argumental traits, rather than legitimate reasons and saying that we "whine" is really just a failure of Republicans to fix the actual problem.

Okay, I'll shut up now. I think I've gone in to way more detail than anybody else about their siblings, and in the begining I was planning to say he wasn't that bad. Yet we all have our flaws, do we not? It's just that we're around our siblings so much that we begin to notice them more, and that repitition irritates us. TWUT!
