Okay, so apparently, my father truly believes that I can take out the trash, sweep the kitchen floor, clean the bathroom of my brother's urine and pack his bags all at the same time.

Each one on their own, I can handle, at the same time, not gonna happen.

Hey, hey, not all parents are mean. Some parents are VERY wonderful. I used to have a terrific mom.

Yeah. My parents are awesome, much like IJ was describing earlier. They always help me out when I need their help, emotionally and financially. They've bought me two cars so far (well, one was bought from my college fund which was on hold while I was working, as some of you know) and they always help me money-wise when I need it. And I think I can honestly say that aside from the Botfriend, my mother is my best friend. Things weren't always so good, but I've realized that I'm basically a mini-version of her, and I can see her viewpoint as a parent trying to deal with a rebellious, punk-rock teenager in the 90s. When I was growing up, my parents were strict but fair, and I really think that helped me out morally. I bet all of you a kabillion dollars that when you're in your twenties, you'll be happy you were raised the way you were. Are. You know what I mean.
Really, even though things seem bad now, kids, they're really not as bad as they seem. I had moments where I hated my parents, too, but now I really do appreciate all they've done for me, and continue to do for me.

My parents are really awesome. They bring me dinner every night at work, which my co-worker thinks is like... the weirdest thing ever. They've put up with the fact that I'm almost 20 and don't feel like learning to drive yet, and they let me have three cats, which is awesome.

The only thing is that my mother has started this weird habit where she'll be sitting around or cooking dinner or something, and she'll just out of the blue say this phrase that I can't repeat on the forum, but it starts with the word "goat." I'm serious. My dad hates it, and it makes my brother REALLY mad, but I think it's the funniest thing ever.

Yeah. So my mom is literally insane, but otherwise my parents are the best.

i love my parents, it's just that my dad is very protective. he doesn't let me on the forum, he doesn't let me ride my bike without inflating the tyres, checking the brakes, seat's the correct height, tightens all the bolts and that my helmet won't fall off in any way and he doesn't let me do anything to the computer without his supervision. despite the fact that he has USB ports on the front of his computer, and i have a simple install disk, he says, "let me get the camera working, you don't want to knock and inportant plugs, or mess up the system". and when i got a PC joystick, he had to make me wait for him. he could of simply let me plug it in, but no. he comes to 'help' me. then, the joystick wouldn't register, so he reinstalls windows! i lost all my data of everything, and the cookies won't work good so i can't use google.

also, he always blames me for everything, and my sister knows it so she does stuff to get me in trouble. and if my sister doesn't like something and yels, it's always my fault. yesterday, i was in the bedroom(we share it, which is terrible), the place with the only good telephone reception. i'm watching TV, and she comes in with the telephone. she says "get lost, i'm using the telephone" "bite me. i was here first" "i'll yell, and pretend you hurt me" note that. she always does that. so she does, and i get in trouble. i have to leave, but i get out the telephone i bought from the swap meet and plug it into the secret plug in the pantry. so i hear her saying "i got my stupid brother out of my room. i can yell, and dad always makes it my way. it's the best!" i kid you not, that is exactly how it goes. the moral is, dad never listens to my side of the story.

my dad's great, except for that.

I defy the teenage standard.

I love my parents. Buahah, hahah, hah.

Because they're awesome. And filled to the brim with hilarity. And...weirdness. And...way too much swearing. xD Mmm, great role models.

Heh. I remember when my mom was picking me up a copy of Chobits one Christmas.

Mom: Hi, where can I find the manga section? My daughter wants...'Chobits'.
Clerk: You do realise those books are for MATURE READERS.
Mom: That's okay! She's 13! :D
