This is the opposite of the Pet Peeves thread. I find that people often deal on the negative too much, and if we talked about things we like, we'd all feel better.

I like it when you find money in your pockets. Best feeling in the world.

When you wake up at 5:30 in the morning and realize you have an hour to lay there and bask in your tiredness.

Time every journey to bump into you, accidentally. I charm you and tell you of the boys I hate, all the girls I hate, all the words I hate, all the clothes I hate; how I'll never be anything I hate. You smile, mention something that you like; how you'd have a happy life if you did the things you like...
Sorry. Couldn't resist. I like Franz Ferdinand.

My english teacher made us make a list like this, "things I like about being alive." I like... walking barefoot on grass. And rocky road ice cream. There's more, of course, this is just all I can think of right now...

Taking a nap in the afternoon sun after working hard outside.

Mmm....... I think I was a cat in another life.

Except for the working hard part.

Corn on the cob. Steamed, grilled, it doesn't matter. Butter is overrated. Crisp but just soft enough to squish. Hot and wonderful.

I love not having any assessment. Best ever. But that feeling never lasts, usually just when I think everything's good, a whole lot of stuff gets piled on...

Well, not even assessment, I love having everything out of the way, so I can do whatever I like. So good.

Yeah, that's nice. But what about 2 hour delays? Waking up to hear, "It's a 2 hour delay! Go back to sleep!" Snow days are even better. You never have to get up!

Nice, tangy, ripe, mangos. I also like getting straight A's because my dad will take me out to sushi if I do.

yeah, snow days are always good.

Summer is good, too.

Then there's that feeling you get when you and your friends are just goofing off and having fun(which we do a lot. We can alos find funny things in crossword puzzles if we look hard enough. Me and one of my best friends found a really funny thing in one, but isn't too appropriate.)

I really like when you get a call during finals week that says you have a new job with a company as soon as graduation is over :)

I also really like it when you finally finish a big project, and you suddenly don't have as much left to do.

i second the sentiment about napping in the sunlight. i actually napped in the rays with my girlfriend's cat once and it was wonderful.

also, the fact that my summer starts in May this year. this is the end of my first year in college and wow. im going to have the longest summer ever.

Yeah but what kind of shape is it in. $$5 says the foil wrapper has melted in on the chocolate.

Ahh foil.... I remember that stuff. Nah, this bar has the oh-so-modern plastic wrapper that would withstand a nuclear blast. It's quite intact.

Anyway, it's not the shape that matters - it's the sugary fatty goodness within.

The first day of the year when the skies are clear and it's warm enough to go outside.

Tying into that, the first day of the year when I can bike the Loop which is a 5 mile stretch of secluded road nearby.
