Sorry if this has ABP'd, but I searched and couldn't find it.

Who is the worst band, in your opinion. Ever.

I hate Backstreet Boys. Blagh. :p

Simple Plan. They are hands down the most craptacular band ever.

Simple Plan. They're the most whiny, obnoxious band I've ever heard.

I remember once my mom was listening to them on her iPod (which just has all the songs from my iTunes on it) on her morning walk. She came back and said, "Hey, those Simple Plan guys are really WHINY!"

He's not a full band, but Enimem (or at least his ability to vocalize) needs to disappear off the face of the planet.

Oh man, there are so many I could list right now...

Well, there's Fall Out Boy and Panic!, Simple Plan and Blink182, and like a gazillion more that I can't think of at the moment.

Leave out earlier Blink 182, and I'll throw stones back at whoevers throwing them at you.

Seriously, there is nothing "Punk" about bands that call themselves punk.

Ok, first off, having a whiny, nasally voice does not make you punk. Neither does looking like a total fool. Punk was an attitude. It was about shaking things up. It was about being against the man, and not because it was cool to be against the man.
Geez, Rage Against the Machine was more punk than any of the bands people call punk nowadays (and they weren't even a punk band).

If you want to talk true punk then talk about the bands from the late 70's and early 80's, bands like The Clash, the Sex Pistols, Dead Kennedys and the Ramones. That's true punk.

Yes.
You forgot the Misfits, though.

Oh yeah, how could I forget them.

I loathe Coldplay with a passion. The lead singer seems to put all his efforts on singing exactly like Thom Yorke, and no effort of, you know, lyrics. I mean, they're catchy, but not good catchy. They have not changed their sound once since they have begun. Each song sounds exactly the same. And people manage to still like them. I hate ripoff bands. Unless they put effort into it, like Interpol does, no matter how much they try to rip off Joy Division.

Gwen Stefani.

Yeah, so she's not really a "band", but she's still a "sing"er that I absolutely cannot stand. I couldn't believe it when "Hollaback Girl" caught on and people actually liked it. To this day, I think it was an experiment to see if the public would still buy craptacular songs/albums if they were trendy. She cannot rap. Spelling out a fruit's name in the middle of a song does not make said song good, even if it's catchy.

If they start producing song similar to their early songs, then yes they can live.

ARGH. I agree. She had respectable work before, but ditching the band and trying to make a record without them was the worst possible idea for her. Freaking sellout.

Um. Yeah. Simple Plan sucks.

And Black Eyed Peas sometimes.

My. Humps.

Oh yes. Them too. "Let's Get It Started" wasn't bad, as in it would have been worse if the NBA hadn't started using it for their Playoffs theme. But gar, My Humps is extremely annoying.

Oh, and though I've only heard one song from them (which I think is more than enough...), The Pussycat Dolls can go die in a fire. "Doncha" is right up there with Ms. Stefani's junk.

Him and every other rapper.

Worst band (that's not rap. Do they even count as a music genre anymore?) Fall out boy or Greenday.

Just because they're popular it doesn't mean they suck. I learned that a while ago.

I think sometimes rap gets a bum reputation for the crap it has. There are a lot of bad rappers, but there are also some rappers that display talent in their music/rhymes/whathaveyou. Personally, I've always felt Jedi Mind Tricks and Atmosphere were a couple of good underground groups worth checking out.

Not all rap sucks, but there are quite a few raps out there that are far from good. For example, I find G-Unit, Kanye West, and Lil' Jon to all be very overrated.

I find that most American rap is bad. It's usually about Eminem being a bad father, or about Fiddy "goin' to da candy shop" The subject matter in the Australian rap scene is much cleaner. Also, it sounds better. The Streets also aren't a bad rap group.
