In ten years? In fifty years? In one hundred years? Beyond.... What will happen to the forum, Homestarrunner, and anything that relates? Ten-Most of us will still be here, using this forum. Fifty-Brothers chaps will long be dead, maybe their children will update the site, or even outsiders who loved the site. (overe a million SBemails!) One hundred- Internet will be either like the records of our time, or will be the main means of communications, in which case: Homestarruner.com will be either a museum exibit or far more advanced than it is now. Beyond-There will be a group that emerges called the priory of Freecountry. They will worship Homestarruner.com, but the site will have been long forgotten but used as the Bible of their day. There will be a great schism seperating Strongists from Runnerists, resulting in a war of the Bronco Trolleys that makes Strongism to the west and Runnerism to the east and alot of other places. Centuries latter: the Strongist church will seperate into other denominations such as: Strongbadism, Strongmadism, and the lesser Strongsadism. But the first big sepperation comes when Lurtan Marther nails his 95 emails to the main page of the website, thus founding Marzipanism. |

Well, here's one. Steve wrote: Ten-Most of us will still be here, using this forum. No. Just no. Look at how many people have stayed here at the forum from the beginning. About 10 - 20 most. I doubt even Homestar will be around. Steve wrote: Fifty-Brothers chaps will long be dead, maybe their children will update the site, or even outsiders who loved the site. (overe a million SBemails!) I highly doubt the Chaps will "long be dead," and once H*R is done, I think it will be done. No fanworks and such. Homestar probably won't even be remembered then. I just think Homestar will continue for the next few years, and when it ends, it will end. Just like Bonus Stage and every other good thing. |

Not his fault. Oh. My bad. Sorry! Anyway, I kinda agree with Code J. In about 10 or 15 years, Homestar Runner will most likely by over. But I bet you that a couple years later, someone will try to revive it with a fan site. |

or buy the site from them and go from there. I know, I can buy it, and start a franchise with it: I'll have commedy central air SB emails as a short cartoon or as a full-length event, SBemails 1-XXXX it will be remembered through till we're dead! |

The first three sound questionable, but I think the fourth is pretty accurate.
And what about Coachism and Bubsism? And Cheatism would be cool too. No Homsarism. That guy's annoying. |

it'd be pretty cool if H*R became a religion. my next life will worship it. some day, the internet might be taken over by something similar, but different. like the betamax. or, like the betamax, it will be taken over by something of less quality but won the popularity contest. |

I say Homestar lasts 10 years(from it's start, not from now). Then, lots of people will make fansites/try to revive it. The usual. Then, after about 5 years of that it'll just die out. Some people will remember it (ME!) but after 15 we'll all have cooler things to do. But that's just my 2 cents. |

Uh... we just celebrated Homestar Runner's ten-year anniversary a few months ago.
I'll join you go-with-the-flowers... er.. flow-ers. And found Homsarism. That guy rules.
