I'm not a big fan of wasabi. It's got too much of a metallic taste for my, er, taste. I'm a big fan of other spices, though, in particular the habanero and cayenne.

Mmm, now you've made me hungry for Thai food.

I love wasabi...I love how the right amount makes it tingle in your nose more than your mouth. As for foods that go good with it...so far, I've only done the typical sushi.

Hot like wasabi when I bust rhymes, big like LeAnn Rimes, 'cause I'm all about value...

Sorry. Couldn't resist.

I'm not much of a wasabi fan. I'm actually not a big fan of horseradishy things in general.
I do like spicy stuff, though. Thai food is good, but I'm more a fan of Cajun and/or Mexican.

I love wasabi more than tradional pepper spices because the heat goes away within seconds.
Though I do liek the flavor of the Habenero the best, but the heat lasts to long. Does anyone know the scoville for wasabi? I know Jalpeno's are 3,000 Thai peppers are 9,000 and habeneros are 300,000. Sorry, I'ma bit of a spicy nerd.

More than what you just said...

As for Scoville units for wasabi, I think those apply to peppers, specifically chilis (that's what ye olde Pocket Ref says, anyway.) Wasabi is a member of the cabbage family.

Yes, wasabi and icecream are not the best mix, but wasabi and a taco shell with meat and avacodoes is!

I am eating these right now.

Not to be eaten while wearing eyeliner. These are incredibly spicy! But I love them. They have a crispy wasabi shell around a yummy macadamia nut. SO good.

I love wasabi. I mix it with shoyu for my California rolls. OH YUM!

My friend gave me a jar of wasabi laced dried peas. It was AWESOME!!! But those are gone now. I like mixing wasabi in soy sauce then dipping tuna shishimi in it.

I just tried out something awesome. Make a PBandJ sandwich with wasabi in the peanut butter. I tricked someone into eating it. The result was a really mad sandwich eater drinking water with the occasional swear at me. I eventually tried it and it tasted good. Unfortunately it hurt.

I've never had wasabi, nor seen it in any shops or resturants.

You are a seriously deprived person. Get some and mix it with pretty much anything.

Before knowing how dangerous wasabi was, I tried one of my mom's "wasabi crisp crunch crackers".

IT WAS LIKE A TRIP TO HECK. SEVERAL TIMES. WITH AIRLINE FOOD.

Hahahahahahaha!!! I gave my veggie burger to my arch-nemisis at school yesterday. What she didn't know was that it was loaded with toxic amounts of wasabi! I enjoy watching bad people suffer.

The first time I got my hands on it, I used wasabi like mustard. That's when I realised just what sort of stuff it really is.

My tongue doesn't like spicy things, even the smallest amount of spiciness. I guess I don't eat enough spicy stuffs.
