I love my mom. She's always willing to talk about things and is there when you need her. She has a great sense of humor and even says, "Why don't you get some brains?" My mom once stayed up until 1 AM to help me finish a project on the Egyptians in 6th grade and didn't complain about it at all. In honor of her and all mothers everywhere, I give you this classic tribute: Treat your mother right! Why is your mom great? |

I don't know how to say this, but among all the craziness, I do love my mom. It's just that the only time I see her is when she is insane. She puts up with me, and I don't think I'm normal. Hey mom, props. (I got her a rosary from Mexico the day I went there a couple weeks ago) |

Props to all the moms out there(not on the forum) that are doing their thing. There are no words to express how I feel. I need to find a present!!! |

Well, I suppose trying to create a thread about loving your mother was a bad idea, considering 90% of the posters here are pre-teens. But still, depressing turnout.

For Mother's Day, I got my mom this miniature garden gnome. In recent years she's developed an obsession with them. Also with The Amazing Race. Although it looks nothing like the Travelocity gnome, she's excited about taking it on their trip to England and Scotland in the fall. |

I just didn't see the thread till now. I love my mom! She's my biggest supporter. She and I both have this sarcastic sense of humour that sometimes drives other people crazy. I tell people all the time that I couldn't have asked for better parents. She's always there for me. Now that I live away from home, she still sends me cards on EVERY holiday you could think (Easter, Hallowe'en, B'day, Valentine's Day, Christmas). Recently, after I'd gone through a pretty bad breakup with a total loser, she sent me a clipping from a clothing sale flyer. They were selling these t-shirts with funny sayings on them. One said "You can have him; I don't want him!" and my mom wrote beside it, "Should I get you one in every colour?" She makes me laugh. |

Eek, I'm a little late. I got my mom over 2 dozen white flowers while me and my brother bought her a breadbox that she has been dying for. She was quite happy for that day

Mother's Day was in March over here. Anyhow, I have the best relationship with my mum. I don't think I show her enough appreciation a lot of the time, but we'll always be close. Now that's an aww-moment.
