This is what I've been waiting for since I finished that last Halo game with the cliffhanger ending that left me screaming obscenities at my TV screen. This video single handedly made my day and then some. Wikipedia link to the synopsis of the trailer, read this AFTER you watch the video. |

Though I do dislike Halo, even all of you that do must admit that those are awesome graphics. I must say wow. |

Halo is the most overrated game series of all time. With that said, the games are still good. And this preview looks quite nice. Looks like Halo fanboys will have something to talk about for a long, long time. |

This trailer left me quite un-wowed. I mean, it's a cinematic scene. Show me some gameplay. Sure the graphics are good, but that's nothing groundbreaking. It's a next-gen game, the graphics are expected to be good. |

Well, the thing about bungie is they always use in game graphics to do all their cinematics, so that's something, right? At least they're not pulling a Sony and saying "These are in game graphics" when they're totally CG. |

Truth be told, if they upgraded the graphics, finished the story, and kept the gameplay similar to the original Halo's...I'm sold. That's all I ask for. Dual wielding is fun and all...but Halo 1 just FELT better to play, you know? |

Apparently when, or right after, Windows Vista comes out...which means probably October - but you'll have to get Vista to play it. |

Wow. That trailer looks awesome. Even though I'm not getting the 360 for a long while. Oh, and did anyone else notice what weapon he was holding? Assault Rifle? Freaking sweet. |

Amen. Battle rifle is of no use. I also wish the Flood weren't so nigh unbeatable without a shotgun. *sits back and waits for someone to say they beat Halo 1 and 2 using only a plasma rifle |

Even with the new graphics, Master Cheif still looks like a clunky old 80-s action figure. The Halo games are good games, just not great games. |

oh...my...gosh.... I am getting this game... (yes i have a 360) Ok, but did anyone else notice..... it says "finish the fight 2007" Isnt it coming out on the same time as the PS3? thats november 2006... Im just sad this is the last of the halo games...maybe they will make something REALLY similar? |

Gates said that it would walk straight into the release of Halo 3, possibly he ment that Halo 3 would come out when the first worthwhile PS3 title came out. To me a console release doesn't mean much, the amount of awesome console only games it has in stock that determines the worth of the machine. Right now the 360's got both "Too Human" and "Halo 3" in the pipe and it's looking pretty good, Revolution* has Twilight Princess and PS3 hasn't announced much yet. *I refuse to call the new Nintendo system by it's given name.
