Alright, so I was sitting in my hotel room, watching America's Funniest Home Videos, because nothing else was on yet. Anywho, it was about halfway through the show, and they did this shot with the host standing in the center aisle in the middle of the crowd. I casually looked at the people in the row in front of where he was standing, and I completely freaked out. Why, pray ttell? Because sitting right in front of him was a guy and a girl that looked EXACTLY like our dear friend PieMax and her boyfriend that she was pictured with earlier. My parents didn't have a clue what I was talking about, but it was a major wtc moment for me. PieMax, were you on AFV at any time in the past?

...waaah. That's really weird.

However, I'm pretty sure she's from Arizona. And you're like, from New York, right? Meh, I have no idea where anyone lives.

Guilty as charged, your honor. Actually, the order was more closer to "ARGLLLLBLBLBLBL!" then folowed by "PieMax", and then "forum"

You do know that's a joke, right? They're not even trying to make it look realistic. It's kinda creepy, though, you're right.

The hotel was at Fort Story, next to VA beach. It was on a base, right where the Chesapeke meets the atlantic. Pretty cool place.

Which actully brings me to another moment. So when we were still there, we had a thunder storm. The maids were out doing their rounds (we were saying in cabins, so they were going from door to door) and the head desk called them inside. The main desk then proceeded to call all the rooms they didn't hit to say what they had done, and if we wanted we could come by th main desk and pick up towels and whatnot if we needed them. I was thinking 'Soooo, it's okay to keep your employees out of potential danger, but you can subject your customers to it...'

The other day I watched an episode of Bobobo Bobo Bobobobo (dunno about punctuation) and the only words on my mind when it was over were "What the crap?" Seriously, it's like Dragonball Z meets a mentally challenged kid on acid.

So I'm not the only one who thinks that??!?! Sweet. I used to think Dragonball was as bad as TV could get. Then I see that Bobobobobobobbobobobobobo or whatever it is. Man, that thing made Pee Wee's Playhouse look like Masterpiece Theatre!
Seriously, man, what is wrong with Japanese people?!?

Just a different sense of humor, is all. The Brits like their dry/semi-crude humor, Americans like semi-crude humor and slapstick, and the Japanese have a sort of ADD-esque random humor... tooth.

I really like British humor. When I lived in Germany, I got British TV channels (their basic cable I guess) and I learned to love BBC comedies, like The Vicar of Dibly (sp?) and, of course, Mr. Bean (man, Rowan Atkinson is a comedic mastermind).

I'm almost 100% positive that Bobobo is supposed to be extremley random, like, even for anime, and thats where the funny's at. I watched it once, and din't like it, and then I watched it again, and it was hilarious.
And on a side note, DBZ was pretty cool. It didn't suck.

I have to wonder, did Bobobo make sense in Japanese?

Ever see Duel Masters? It's very obvious that when It was translated over from Japanese...They didn't even try. They apparently just voiced over what they thought was going on.

"DURR DURR DURR..DUEL MASTERS! DURR DURR DURR..DUEL MASTERS! Get in the battle zone..."

Thanks to Helen for letting me steal her joke...

Here's mine. I was doing a search on the Wiki about Sonic the Hedgehog, and I came upon Sonic Hero's.

And guess what I found.

His name is E-123 Omega.

Here is a picture.
