Okay, I have to come out of the closet on this one. I.... watch...... American Idol. Ugh, I feel like I need to take a chemical shower now.

But there is some good talent on this year, no? My favourites are Elliot, Chris and.... my main doge...... Taylor Hicks.

And if I were to pick a favourite-to-win, it would be Chris. Did you see his version of Johnny Cash's Walk the Line? Believe me, I would have thought it blasphemy that that song was used in such a competition - before I saw Chris's rendition.

So, how about you?

First off, I would like to say this:

WAHOO! POP IDOL, a BRITISH show has spin offs all over the world. Spinoffs with REALLY bad titles.

And back on subject, I dislike it. I don't see the point in watching 'budding' artists on TV when I can just get out my Trivium CDs.

Boo. I hate it, but I still sometimes watch it. I really hope that Kelly Pickler does win, because it would wreck the show. Although, Chris deserves to win.

I want to hear Simon Cowell sing!! With all the negative critiques he gives everyone else, he ought to be able to belt it out better than Josh Groban.

I'm not a terribly huge fan of fan, I just watch it if I dont have homework, or if Chris or Taylor is on. I am exceedingly glad, though, that [s]Chase[/s] Ace is gone. Jibblies.

Vote for the Worst Dot Com. For if you hate "American Idol", or if you secretly want to watch it and still be cool in the eyes of your friends. For me, it's the former, but I won't judge you.

My dang mom got my hooked on American Idol. I used to hate it, but believe me, some of these people are really good.

If Chris doesn't win, it's a sin against nature.

Amen brother.

I watch it sometimes. I'm not addicted to it, I just like to watch it. I find it amusing to laugh at the people who claim they're good, but they stink. :p

the only part of american idol I ever watch is a few of the auditions, because it's fun to watch people that stink. Other than that it bores me to tears.

Yep, I watch it, 'cause I like music. I don't see why so many people hate it, sure, the parts Seacrest and Simon argue are annoying, but all in all, there are some really good musicians. Chris is an awesome singer, he reminds me of Jason Wade, my favorite singer, so I'm rooting for him to win.

And yeah, his rendition of Walk the Line was awesome (both defenitions of awesome)

Three Words:

CHRIS WILL WIN. NO COMPETITION. AMERICAN IDOL CAN'T DO QUEEN. I GUESS THIS WAS MORE THAN THREE WORDS.

The only American Idol contestant who could do Queen was Constantine from last season. When Brian May gives you props, you've done well.

EDIT: I hate American Idol with every fiber of my being.

I hate all the idol shows.
It seems like most of the people who win, (american and australian) all seem to get unpopular in a month. Except Kelly Clarkson.
But her music is bad. I think it is.

American Idol is OK. But you know what's even better? Unan1mous. That reality show is so good, I only saw one episode and now I want to see the rest. And it comes on right after American Idol, so, whatever.

Or as the wonderful Joel from The Soup says, "For people that forget to turn off their TV's after American Idol, Unan1mous is for you!"

Seriously, I hate American Idol. In fact, I really dislike any reality shows.

But I love The Soup.

I love American Idol. I hope Taylor wins.

And I like Unan1mous. It's my guilty pleasure. I know it's as low as you can possibly go without being Jerry Springer, but it's just so interesting to see how money affects people. Also it keeps doing that darn cliffhanger thing! AAUUUUUGH! Me and my mom have a bet going that it'll end by the money just running out and then the guy on the screen saying "OK, go home, losers." XD

Not my cup of tea at all. pop music = blagh.
Plus it's shows like them that diverts attention from arrested development.

Yeah, like a lot of other people, I only watch the auditions. If there's someone that I really like that gets through, I might occasionally tune in to see how they're doing.
Canadian Idol, on the other hand... I'm addicted. Maybe just because it hits closer to home, or maybe just because the musical geniuses from the East Coast are just so much fun to watch.

I don't really like American Idol, but I was a huge fan of that Rock Star INXS show when it was on. I liked the music much better on that show.

Bah! All these haters! Believe me, I know where you're all coming from, and normally I don't go into this sort of thing. I do listen to good music too - honest. But at times my brain just needs some mindless entertainment - watching Simon Cowell go off on hapless wannabes is just one of those times.

Good to see supporters of Chris and Taylor here. I think they really do have potential. I'm not sure that Taylor would win, but I do think that he's perfect for weird, camp Las Vegas gig. I'd go see him, anyway.

I don't like it. I just don't. It's not the kind of show that appeals to me, even if it is pure hilarity to see Simon Cowell break people down.

I'm rather surprised there are so many American Idol haters.

Although to be honest, I was one of you for the longest time. Then I started watching it, and got hooked. Believe me, once there are only the really good people left, the competition gets really interesting.

Chris managed to turn stupid "Love Songs" night into another awesome performance. I was worried for a second there. Though I'm not surprised. Other than "Queen" night, almost all the themes have been against him.

First of all: "Unan1mous", "Numb3rs". It's like the whole world's going 1337 on us or something. I mean, really, are they just having problems getting treadmarks and stuff now?

Also, instead of just blindly voting for the worst, I actually sat down and watched "American Idol" last week. I felt kind of bad, because there are all these good shows on around the same time ("Scrubs", "Gilmore girls", etc.) that I don't really watch anymore. But anyway: Does Paula cry like that a lot? Because that was weird. Watching Simon next to her cracking up was just priceless, though.

I watched three episodes off it last year, and I didnt like it.
Even if I did like it I can't stay on a television schedule, even my favorite reality show; black white I miss alot, I'm too spontaneous for a schedule.

Plus internet is better that TV.

I'm worried to ask, what is Queen night?

Nah, that's the first time I've seen her do that. She might have done it in the past, no way does she do it on a regular basis. She's normally all smiles and crap.

That goes without saying, IMO.

A night where all the contestants had to sing songs by Queen.
