Germany should be in the finals. It would be a great match up. Germany and France, think of the bad blood there, and in the Olympiastadion of all places.

EDIT: I was checking out the All-World Cup team and I noticed that Ronaldo wasn't on there. The man sets a record for most career World Cup goals this year and he is left off of the All-World Cup team. Hey FIFA, WTF?!

I'm going for Italy. Both are in my blood, but the French seem to lose quite a bit. :p

My dad loves France, we even have a French flag that we fly when France has a game and on Bastille Day. So, France FTW!

Don't you find it weird that France dropped out in the 1st round in 2002 and now have a chance to win? Oh, the things that football can throw up.

He head butted him.

Not Italy. Anyone but Italy. This sucks. The best WC and it goes to Italy.

I hope 2010 is better than this.

That was so awesome. I want one of those "OWNED" gifs to have Zidane head-butting that guy.

This wasn't the best; it had the most yellow cards ever.

You got something against the Italians?

I didn't care too much for either team. I'm Italian, so I partly root for them, and I love France, so I cheer them on as well. So today, it didn't matter for me who won.

He's just mad because Italy beat them 1-0 in the QFs. See, we Americans accept losing our round because we don't care about soccer.

A lot of those cards came from players taking dives, trying to get calls that they don't deserve. Anything that cuts down on that is good in my book. Still, I'd like to see only dives and blatant fouls penalized.

Also, there were a lot of good matches, with several overtimes and a couple of good shootouts. I liked it.

Meh, I'll accept 4th place for my Portugese. It was a good cup for them, and I was actually surprised they made semis.

Go italy.

Anything to get their call. I mean, it's unfair, but in the same situation, wouldn't you fake it a bit if it meant your team getting the advantage?

sad that france didn't win. oh well. i wish the game didnt have to end on a shootout, though. it was exciting, but it really doesn't have much to do with the game beforehand. france controlled the ball well and then choked in the shootout. alas.

It's because Italy knocked Australia out. Booo....

Well, if it's any consolation, T-Coke, I think it's better to be knocked out by the overall winners, than by a team who'd end up getting Puh-OWN'd. At least, you were only beaten because you were beaten by the best.

.....

Yeah, that's........ no consolation at all...... is it..... ?
