They're very demented.

On a completely unrelated note, the dimensions would vary depending on what exactly you're trying to do. More information would be helpful.

Dude. Calm down. You don't have to go berserk over one small thing.

All right, don't get your drawers in a knot.

There's no predefined size for the level. It depends on exactly what you're trying to do. Hence why I asked for more information, eh? If you're trying to make one, it would depend on the screen size you plan on working with. The level should be long enough to be challenging but short enough to be feasible. You could, of course, just play Mario and figure out for yourself about how long the level is. In most Mario games the height, assuming you don't want to have a bunch of stuff way up high, should be about 12 or 13 "Marios" high, that is, however tall your Mario is, make the screen around 12/13 times taller.

Well, if DIMENSIONS are what you're talking about, since it's a side scroller, it would probably be two dimensional, wouldn't it? I mean, there's height and width... Unless there are some new 3d sidescrollers that I haven't heard about, then I would guess just height and width...yeah..

Tell you what, here's how you can figure it out for yourself:

1. See those little ticks on the progress bar at the bottom? Find out how many of those is equal to one screen length.
2. Divide the total number of ticks in the level by the number you got in part 1.
3. Find out the pixel length of a DS screen. Multiply that by the number you got in part 2.

Voila.

By the way, not only is getting angry like that unnecessary, but you're not even right. Standard would mean a single, basic example. Almost an archetype. So you can extend it from standard to general, meaning what are the general dimensions, meaning what set of dimensions is the usual/most common/standard. But you can't call that an average. So watch the choice of words in your question before you get angry at someone for giving what you see as a wrong answer.
