Today we honor Blue Man Group, the most awesome performance art trio ever. Why today? Simple. Stitch is blue, and his number was 626. Therefore, 6/26=Blue Man Day. Besides, 1936 Day was random & unannounced, so why can't Blue Man Day be?

Yay! Blue day! I love the concept of Blue Man Group, and would probably love the band itself given more familiarity than just the one song. :)

This was from a while back, but it seems to be relevent to today's theme.
On the Character Costume Thread Somm-1 wrote:

And on some episodes, they can make fun of my obsession with the color blue. Someone could be showing off a mood ring that only responds with one color when I wear it. Or a few of the characters, including myself, could accidentally run into a pile of paint cans. While the others are covered with a rainbow of colors, I'm covered with blue paint only. Then I say, "Well, this could have been worse." Then the others give me a look of death. By that I mean a look that says "I'm going to kill you."

And then the other characters of would spend the entire twenty-seventh episode trying to get me to wear something else. While they talk about something important, they could be going through my closet stealing every blue thing that I own. Then one of them will say, "Does this guy own anything that isn't blue?" So they decide to take everything away and the replace it with some of their own clothing. In the last scene I come out wearing something so mismatched the laugh track (assuming this is a sitcom) breaks the show's personal record for longest laugh track. I look so ludicrous they decide to give back all my clothing out of pity, after commenting about how funny I look.

This is much too close to Negative Day, Ian.

Too many holidays too close makes them all bland and uninteresting. I would have had no problem with this if it was done in the middle of June.

In Ian's defense, there's no such thing as Negative Man Group, and I helped him pick out the June 26 date for reasons cites in the first post, so if anyone should be killed for this holiday, it's me. :)
