Anyone else watch Robot Chicken on [adult swim]? The show's friggen' hilarious. My social studies teacher told me to watch it a few months ago, and I did. I was in love. Basically, it's a stop-motion animation sketch show created by none other than Dr. Evil Jr., Seth Green. It's really random, too.

I love it. I don't watch it much. I don't watch anything much, actually.

Robot Chicken is the one of the greatest Adult Swim originals. I still refuse to believe that the people who created greats like SeaLab 2021, Robot Chicken, The Oblongs, and Harvey Birdman are responsible for crap like The Brak Show and Tom Goes to the Mayor.

I think my favorite Robot Chicken moment was probably the one where this mime was doing the "wall" thing. This car pulls up and the guys in it make fun of him, then they run into the invisible wall.
It's either that or the George W Bush "taco" ones.

My fiance refuses to watch Robot Chicken. I kinda hate that. Everytime it comes on and I try to watch it, she either gives me attitude or goes all emo on me.

I love Robot Chicken.

There are tons of sketches from it on youtube.

I like the one where Vader calls the Emporer after spinning through space for two weeks after Han Solo blasts him.

"WHAT'S AN ALUMINIUM FALCON??"

"OH, YEAH, REBUILD IT, THAT'S AN ORIGINAL IDEA!!"

"I...love you too."

My problem with the show is, that it just feels like they try too hard to parody certain things.
Other than that, it's okay...

I'll buy that. Thankfully, they are still good enough for you to be able to tell what they're parodying, without them having to say the person's name every 3 seconds, ala MadTV.

I liked the one with the movie trailers for movies based on board games. I liked the Hungry Hungry Hippos part.

"You boys sure are hungry!"

"Hungry...for justice!"

That one was good, but I didn't get "Slip n' Slide"... It wasn't a board game. It was a fun way to kill the grass, though, and, unless you lived on a hill, you really never got all the way down the thing.

I friggin' love Robot Chicken. I think my favorite quote is "Protect the environment! Or I'll f'n kill you! CAPTAAAIN PLAAAANET!"

Sree, I completely agree. I don't know what's up with AS. How can you create gold like Aqua Teen and then spit out crap like Minoriteam? It's baffling.

I HATE Minoriteam. It's just not funny. At all.

Aqua Teen is funny, too.

I also wish that Robot Chicken was longer. I mean, come on, 11 minutes!

That's kind of the point of Robot Chicken. It, and Aqua Teen are funny, but wouldn't be funny in a 30 minute chunk.
You just learned the most important lesson in comedy, kid. No matter what something is, no matter how funny it is, there is a maximum amount that can be dished out before it just gets annoying.
Eleven minutes seems to be the longest Robot Chicken can be and still be funny. Of course, it'd also be a pain in the butt to make an episode longer than that. Working in stop-motion has got to suck.

I dunno.... I've spent an hour or so watching every Robot Chicken on youtube and it didn't get old.

I think it has more to do with the amount of time required by stop motion animation.

Ahh, the fatal flaw of SNL movies.

Most of them, yes.
Wayne's World is the exception to that rule, fo-shizzle. Er, Party on.

You know, the more I think about this, the more I want to merge this into the Adult Swim thread. I want to continue my rant about how I hate that something as great as Robot Chicken can come from the same minds that thought Minoriteam was funny (and the same minds that want to bring back Pee Wee's Playhouse)

I think Robot Chicken's my 2nd favorite Adult Swim original, next to ATHF.

Now, I'll agree with you on Minoriteam, that's pretty sucky, but I actually enjoy Tom Goes to the Mayor. I don't know why, I just do.

CAAAAPTAAIN PLAAANET!

That was the best moment ever.

On the subject of Pee-Wee Herman on [adult swim] : It's making me laugh really hard because it doesn't fit on there. But I guess they decided to give gous a break and put it there, from the bottle of their hearts.

If no one gets that joke I'll cry.

One of my favorite skits will always be M. Night Shyamalan's "The Twist".

*walks oustide*

*the house is on the moon*

"What a twist!"

Was there an Adult Swim thread? All I remember is that I tried to post it one time, but Seethroo deleted it, saying a poll about "What is your favorite Adult Swim show?" (which doesn't have RC or any of the newer shows on it) was the topic to discuss any AS crap.

And while on the topic of Pee Wee's Playhouse...bringing that back is like giving me my childhood back.

Y'know, so do I. The first episode was the best, it kind of reminded me of Bonus Stage a bit. I think the cardboard cutouts make it hilarious. 12oz mouse is horrible, though. As for Robot Chicken, I haven't seen a lot of it. I'll have to watch it when it comes on next.

My two favorite parts:

"Billy! Are you playing with your morning wood?"

" "And then the little boy took a crap." Hey! I'm taking a crap! Wooooooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww"
