Meanies.

I don't see what you guys are celebrating. America is supposed to be a country of freedom, yet it has more useless laws than any other country in the world. I mean - Jaywalking laws! You aren't even allowed to cross the road whatever way you want. You have to pay taxes, keep your clothes on, avoid TV shows with swearing before 7PM. Some freedom that is.

We may have to pay taxes ect. here too, but we don't claim to be a country of freedom.

Don't call me a jerk for saying this. I could have said "Screw you America!", but I didn't. I didn't voice my opinions, because they are harsh. I just said the facts.

Funny story about last night. We had a tornado warning, which means the sirens went off and all that. However, some real daring people (basicly everyone who bought fireworks), stayed outside while the sirens were going off, and kept shooting off fireworks. Of course, the tornado warning wasen't official, they just turned the sirens on for no reason, the NWS issued nothing for our county. It was the SECOND time those sirens sounded that day. Then it started raining. Hard. What do you hear besides the rain? More fireworks going off everywhere.

And because of that bad weather, I missed every second of Macy's Fireworks last night, since it was on NBC, and the local channel cut in with a 1-hour weather report.
