Well, as far as I can tell, this game is broken. That URL you find is 404'd

I played it many times. I never beat it. It's still a pretty good game.

Crimson Room is a classic, and I think one of the first (if not THE first) "Escape from the Room" type games, which typically use Flash to play online. In fact, there's a whole host of Room Escape games that can be found here. Oh, and a Wiki Page.

There're three games, if not more, that are in that series: Crimson, Veridian, and Cerulean, I think. Something like that. They're all really hard, and I have no idea how you're supposed to do it without a guide.

Also, if you like that you'll probably enjoy Hapland & Hapland 2, though I don't have the link for them right now. Google 'em.

I was clicking, but too much...haha, I saw the box start to appear, so I clicked more, and it would take me out of the watching the clip scene...

By the way, if you guys like this one (or the other ones on that page) you will like these:
http://www.dragongamez.com/thecar.htm
http://www.dragongamez.com/thebar.htm

Haha, they rhyme...

I just beat the Car one... It was pretty easy, I didn't have to use a guide or anything.

Eh... I remember I saw a really awesome one a long while ago on bonus.com...

It was all scientific and stuff, like often passwords came in the form of "At what temperature does so-and-so element freeze at?".

Eh, I gotta find it. I remember it being really cool...

EDIT: Bah, the whole site's been overloaded with ad games...

I solved almost all of The Car, except how to get the padlock combination, and what to do with the toy car...
So I broke down and searched for a spoiler site, and discovered that I had done everything I needed to do, the thing with the combination was just completely blank...
'Tis a bug in the linux version of Flash Player... if the font isn't packaged right when whoever it is made the .swf file, the writing will be invisible when you load it... the same thing happens with the navbar on H*R...
Anyways, I loaded it up in IE (shudder) and finished it. Things actually made more sense too, with the whole "little message at the bottom of the screen telling you what you just picked up" dealie. (The thing saying that the grey splodge was a screw was invisible too...)

Crimson Room I eventually figured out too, again with the help of a spoiler telling me something I shouldn't have had to know... in this case that clicking the spot before the movie completely finishes doesn't work, and that facing the wall after the movie's over and clicking there doesn't work... both of which are what I would consider to be bugs...

Anyways, they were fun.

I got stuck and looked at a guide too, and I still can't beat it. In Crimson Room, I'm entering the right combination, but it says it isn't right.

Meh.

I couldn't get out of the first room, so I played MOTAS instead; I've beaten that about 6 times now, & I've made a walkthrough.

Meh.

If a guide tells you a specific number, they're lying, the number is random.

One of the items you find near the start is a piece of paper with a url on it... go to that url and it'll tell you your magic number.
