As long as you don't put him in range of enemies, and give him a bodyguard if he's opening doors, he'll be fine.

This time through i am going to use Devdan, Sothe, Tormod, Ilyana, and some Laguz for once

Ah, I didn't use a ton of characters. It would be easier to list the characters I did use. I'll list the ones I didn't use at all, or no more than a couple

I didn't use Sothe, Mist, Rolf, Asterid, Brom, Keiran, Malakov, Ulki, Devdan, Tomrod, Maurim, Callil, and Largo. I'm sure there's much, much more, but I can't remember them all right now.

The ones I used the most: Ike (duh, but he was in the front), Titania, Boyd, Rhys, Soren, Oscar, Gatrie, Shinon, Janaff, and Reyson.

ARGH! i hate Titania, she is not that goood later in the game, she is only good in the begining because she starts off one class above the others.

Titania actually has remarkably good growths. I would say that's she's best late game, when she isn't stealing experience from your weaker units.

I plan to use all the characters eventually. Besides Ike, I used Titania, Soren, Oscar, Boyd, Rhys, Kieran, and Geoffrey the most in my normal runs. If I ever do another of those, I'll probably include Astrid and Ranulf.

Yeah, Devdan never really worked for me.

And Ace, from an earlier post, I did beat the original US versoin, but I must of missed, or forgotten that part of it.

I actually still haven't beaten my main file in POR. I was suck on that level where you need to get Reyson to talk to Kilvas. Now I'm on that bridge level where you get Ranulf.

Naesala's level is incredibly difficult to do correctly. I think that, besides the Black Knight fight, that's the hardest level for those of us who absolutely have to get all the items and bonus experience possible.

Currently, I'm on chapter 27 in my third playthrough and chapter 13 in my fourth playthrough.

i have beaten PoR 6 times, i am on my 7th time through. The Neasala Level is the hardest.

Wow. Seventh playthrough. I'll probably devote more time to Blazing Sword after I finish my sixth or something.

What's your favorite character from the three English-translated games, personality-wise? For me, it's Guy from Blazing Sword.

In terms of personality and style, or usage?

I really like Soren from POR. His stubborness amuses me. I also like
Matt and Erk for BS. Though I'm not good with Matt.

Personality.

Matthew is my third favorite character in BS, after Guy and Legault.

Oh yeah. I like him too. Isn't Neimi the Pegusas knight?

Sain: Blazing Sword cavalier. Flirt.
Colm: Sacred Stones thief.
Neimi: Sacred Stones archer.

When I had just started playing SS, I was a diehard Colm/Neimi fan.

she is the archer, with the pink hair. Venessa, Selena and some chick whose name starts with a "T" are the pegasus riders.

Vanessa, Syrene, and Tana are SS's pegasus knights. Florina is a pegasus knight from Blazing Sword.

My favorite characters are probably Sain from Blazing Sword, Ike from PoR, and I haven't played the other games. I like Ike a lot not just for his personality, but because he's not a wimp like all the previous lords.

Titania is always good. I don't know why you don't think so. Having a level 20 paladin at any point in the game is a huge bonus. She's always been the spearhead of my army. If you don't want her to "steal" EXP, then don't kill people with her until later.

As for the Black Knight level, I had to run away. There's no way I could have won. They would have killed Mist, and I couldn't beat Black Knight on my own/without healing.

BK doesn't attack Mist, and the reinforcements don't show up until turn 3, so Mist can do her healing for a bit. Once she has to flee, just use Elixirs every turn. Hopefully you Aether on a counterattack. I've lost once (time limit, no Aethers) and won once (Mist was leveled up this time).

If you don't have Aether, though, it's impossible to win. Seriously. Can't be done.

Yeah one time i got Mist up to level 20 Valkerey just for this battle but i did not have Aether so i lost because of the time limit.

Yeah, but the problem was that Ike didn't do Aether. I got critical hit'd by BK on the first turn, so I was outta luck as Mist was like level 3. I ran off when reinforcements arrived.

It's all luck, even with the best conditions.

Actually, Ephraim, from Sacred Stones, which you haven't played, rules. Like awesometime superness. (I should trademark that)

The laguz? They're... interesting, to say the least. However, I prefer units that can fight whenever needed, and the Demi Band lowers stats, which is not my ideal solution. The laguz kings are cool, though.

Yes, but even so, Muriam (who have equipped with it) is still really good. Hardly anyone ca hit im, and he's powerful, too. And if you find strenghth a problem, you can use one of those attack upgrades.

Muarim is actually my least favorite beast laguz. I prefer the cats to the tigers, and Mordecai turned out better for me. Ranulf is still my favorite laguz, though.

Yeah, my favorite is a tie between Lethe and Mordecai. I gave Lethe that thing that helps her fight beorc, and the one that always lets her attack first.
