What? The laguz are awesome! I always went into battle with at least three of them (including Reyson). I always used a beast tribe (usually Mordecai or Ranulf), a bird tribe (always Janaff), and Reyson. Once I got Ranulf, I pretty much stopped using Lethe and Mordecai. |

Ranulf is really the only laguz I must have in the final lineup. I'm not fond of dancers, and I don't think I've ever given the bird laguz a fair shot. There are plenty of beorc to fill the party. |

Cara Carabowditbowdit wrote: The laguz? They're... interesting, to say the least. However, I prefer units that can fight whenever needed, and the Demi Band lowers stats, which is not my ideal solution. The laguz kings are cool, though.
That is why i dont use them, they are good but i prefer dependible beorc. |

I bought the guide to SS at least half a year before actually buying the game. It helped a lot with the noob-ishness. That, and I listened to the tutorials. |

Or for people whose house contains one computer and four geeks, and won't get control of the PC that often. Plus, pictures. |

No, they're not. I love guides. I plan my strategy around them and with them, they're easier to acess than the internet when you're Dad uses it most of the time for work. And they're fun to read. |

First of all, Cdan, you rule for making this awesome topic on my birthday. Secondly, my favorite strategy is outlasting the enemy. I am the king of defensive positions. On Fire Emblem 7, Chapter 30, Victory or Death, I made a defensive position right after the messload of reinforcements show up (a whole bunch of various people that show up in the same position for 15 turns straight). The line held for the entire time, against weapon malfunctions and an overactive A button (keeps hitting A twice, placing people where I don't need them). That has been my favorite Fire Emblem moment. EDIT: I've only played the first one released here, so my favorite characters are Hector, Priscilla, Nino, and Farina. |

Unfortunately, I'm really, really bad at video games. Seriously. Even with after years of practice I tend to do stupid things like forget about Wind Swords being 1-2 range. Luck affects Avoid and Dodge. |

I'm 99% sure that luck affects your opponent's critical hit ratio. A person with higher luck will get hit with a critical hit less often. |

Both speed and luck affect Avoid, and Dodge is defined as the chance to avoid a critical hit. |

I'm 90% sure of this, but I heard that Nintendo was making Fire Emblems 1-6 available for download on the Wii. Translated? Maybe. But still, that would be awesome. |
